"Moonwalk" is a breath of fresh air, a movie that proves you don't need a seasoned cast to create something special. The newcomers bring an undeniable energy and enthusiasm to their roles, making the viewing experience all the more enjoyable. The direction is sharp, and the story keeps you hooked from start to finish.
The performances are surprisingly strong across the board. The actors bring a certain rawness and authenticity to their characters, which is really refreshing. The movie has a great story and the plot is engaging. It's great to see new faces getting a chance to shine.
A special mention has to go to Manoj Moses. His performance is particularly impressive, showing a natural talent that's hard to ignore. Manoj, you were fantastic! Congratulations on a job well done. "Moonwalk" is a must-see for anyone who appreciates fresh talent and a well-crafted story.

A glorious reminiscence to the vintage 80's blended with exceptional dance moves, unparalleled music rhythms and pop fashion culture through a spectacular screenplay.
The plot of the story revolves around a group of old town teenage boys cherishing and manifesting their dream and love for dance.
A K Vinod & Sunil Gopalakrishnan has cooked a wonderful nostalgic treat for the audience with raw performances and relatable dialogues. They have easily synchronized love, brotherhood, friendship, bonding, discrimination, family camaraderie, rage, emotions, jealousy and unity in the story that can be very well connected by the audience who lived through those times. The filmmakers has triumphed in bringing the late 80's period to the screen perfectly with the ambience, colour grading and the styling of the characters. The way filmmakers has layered the story shows us how much dance was moving through their veins and blood. The climax sequence was pure Goosebumps. Hats off to the casting directors,LJP and Listin for introducing a handful of raw talents to the Malayalam audience through a beautiful dance movie serving as an ideal tribute to the legend MJ.
Stellar performances by Anunath,Siby Jackson,Sidharth Babu,Arun Achary & Manoj Moses. Rishi Kaini,Sujith Prapanchan,Srikanth Murali,Meenakshi,Nainita,Anjana Doss,Thushara & Veena Nair also made notable performances in the movie.
Kudos to the DOP Ansari Shah for capturing the dance moves exceptionally and for visual nostalgic treat to the audience perfectly chopped and sliced by Deepu- Kirandas duo making it a sublime entertainer. Prashant Pillai has just nailed it and what a bang on music blending with the dance moves and the BGM's giving a refreshing and rejuvenating feel throughout the movie. His contribution along with Renganaath Raave's sound design in elevating the movie experience is simply marvellous. Special mention to Dhanya Balakrishnan for the brilliant costume designs, make up department for the vintage hairstyling,Sabu Mohan for the vintage ambience settings and the colorist Nandakumar and the most wanted man Sreejith, the man behind the soul of this movie.
A must watch movie for Baby boomers,Gen X and Millennials that gives a medium to rewind to their good old days and to groove some dance moves.🕺🏻💃🏻

Wow! This is such an amazing movie. A lot of movies are releasing recently but this one is magical. We South Indians should be so proud to have so many amazing movies which are getting recognized and this one is on top. The director did not just recreate the retro look it felt like he time traveled to that era and we can actually experience it in every frame. The whole theater got goosebumps and its been so long since I've experienced that in a very long time. It is a great theatrical experience movie with the sound effects and the editing it's all extraordinary. It is a much watch in theaters.
It is a really good movie but it is sad to see that the audience is not flowing in as expected and because of that the movie is moved from the theaters near me which is really unfortunate.
It should have reached a wider audience and these movies should be appreciated in the theaters as well rather than getting appreciated when it is released in OTT.
Hopefully it wont be like the fate of Guppy which was another great movie which did not get the necessary appreciation in the theaters but was received widely when DVD was launched, wish that the producers get their returns for the quality they produced.
