Comin' Up Short

I really enjoyed the film. I felt like it lets you take a walk with Bro Jerome through his life. The scenes took you as if you was right there. Shout out to Nation 19 for a fantastic job. If there is a Heaven for a G. Shorty Is smiling down on you all. I got to know him more from this Documentary. I knew him from FOI From a distance in Cali. The wonderful pleasure of Hakim Calling him on the phone in His final days and speaking with him. This Documentary will make his name ring throughout the Earth forever. May God Bless Nation19 Thanks for giving Our Brother his proper dues to the time in service of God.

I understand this was a quick way to make a little money for not much work. Just put one guy in front of a camera and add some old still photos and a few clips. This hour long "documentary" was probably made in an hour and a half.

The Lench Mob was a side project of a couple security people of Ice Cube's. They put out one not very good album. And just like this video, it was quickly made for quick cash and wasn't good at all.

Both the album and this video are good for a few moments but mostly a lot of filler. Ironically the most interesting part was a brief discussion of Tookie Williams, an early Crip founder. You learn almost nothing about NWA, Ice Cube, or even the Lench Mob.
