Meow, meow, meow😺
This was an amusing film with good messages and as always, Soubin Shahir never disappoints!
DELICIOUS
-The editor must have had fun working on Meow. The sound effects and animation amplified the funny and relaxing aspects of the movie. The CGI cat was nicely done
-Soubin Shahir was captain of the ship: He guided the story well and welcomed us into his world. We saw his fears, strengths, weaknesses, struggles, insecurities, and desires
-The desert location was a good pick to center on Dasthaker's life without being too distracted by the Arabian setting
-The storytelling was really entertaining with MANY unique characters gently introduced without confusing us.
-Dasthaker's house was a great demonstration of harmony as it peacefully sheltered Muslims, a Hindu driver, and a Christian maid
-So what did the cat symbolize in Meow? In our humble opinion, it was a symbol of guidance and the presence of Dasthaker's wife
BLAND
-As much as we love Soubin Shahir, it was a little repetitive to see him in almost every scene.
Overall, the story seemed to be evolving very slowly.
