Overall commercial treat for commercial fans,family audience And Hari fans.

Outdated story and dull screenplay. Protagonist Arun Vijay yells and roars throughout the movie, it's completely boring. Songs, comedy and background music were mediocre. Director Hari must modernize. A merely average film overall.

Yaanai is good family entertainer connecting B and C audience. Arun Vijay has gave brilliant performance in all areas of acting especially in action and sentiment scenes. All supporting actors such as Samuthrakani, Radhika, Yogi Babu, Priya Bhavani Shankar did their parts well. Hari gave a good comeback. Totally worth watchable family entertainer with good social message.

One more time???????

In the last 20 years - nothing has changed in Hari movies. Good to follow a trend but atleast the scenes should be different - Hari has failed to produce a new product. He just copied his ideas and script again.

Ofcourse the same formula but it's not a crime to follow it - but atleast it must be interesting. Even director visu followed a same trend his whole lifetime but the script had that much weight and his career worked well. When Hari want to apply the same - he needs to go with the latest acceptable version. No matter every family have problems and people show hatred against one and people do love another one - but to build scenes, it must be to the present day happenings - but Yaanai showed the same ideas share in Thamirabarani, arul and his own.

Nothing special to say - one more cliche movie. I won't complain the format as we live in the same society and can't blame the format is old - the plot alone is old.

Same templated Hari's story with Arun Vijay. Same joint family, same feud, same wiser son in the family, same family separation, same revenge and same message in climax. The template is sincerely followed in this movie also. But the presentation is not boring as the template, in this place Hari wins.

The casting is good, only Rajesh is bit out of sync. There is some solid message and it spilled in lot of dialogs. But not told boldly, the cast message was just as masala factor for the story. If he added different premise than "thamiraparani", this would have better one. It was like watching thamiraparani movie again.

Why some tamil movies again telling jaathi jaathi??? Making a movie with same old templete and humiliating caste and all. Respected director, this is 2022,why again putting old junk like this??? Price of the ticket is not 5 or 10 rupees, its 120-200 rupees. Atleast, the viewers want a belief to expend the mone right???

After a very long break watched movie that really made my day.. what a feel good movie. Hari with his trade mark making and acting from crew was outstanding. No negatives about the film, i'd pay to watch movies in this genre than any. Again, please watch.

Yaanai got to be one of my fav ArunVijay movie now. Definitely a good comeback for dir Hari after his disaster Saamy2. The only let down were the songs. Other than that everything else was good. ArunVijay nailed his roles, he was lit during the action scenes 💥

I had withdrawal symptoms while watching this movie and I didn't want it to end. Director Hari has given a fabulous movie to AV. Complete entertainer. Absolutely worth watching. PBS, Samuthirakani and others have done justices to their role. Director Hari has a unique peculiar way of story telling. It's evident in the movie. Waiting to watch more movies of this kind.

Excellent film for family audiance.action and emotional power packed movie .Film proves that don't look at the caste.but caste exit in reality so no use of taking such a movie that shows don't look at caste.first remove caste fr educational sectors and employment sectors then you can take such a movie .

Hari back to track and Arun Vijay wonderful acting family entertainment Arun Vijay try to find script like this in future also Hari and Arun Vijay combo is wonderful.

This is nothing new but the same content/plot from Hari's cinematic universe (HCU)

if you like watching dir Hari's films, you surely don't want to miss this one as well since the energy levels, plot, screenplay, action, comedy, etc, all work out well, the only difference is that the film doesn't have a big star but a popular face only, still with the dir's touch, the film runs at 2-3x speed all over and it doesn't let you touch your phone, that's the biggest thing that a dir can do, even when he makes 10s of films with the same content and still he keeps the audience engaged then that's nothing but pure magic and very few directors can achieve this feat so easily.

Fights, Songs, comedy all good. Arun vijay sir acting well and delivery outstanding performance in many scenes. Really worth for time to watch this movie.

It highlights some social ills and encourages people to live as human beings beyond caste, religion and hatred. It is amazing how every major scene in the movie is captured in one shot. In contrast to previous films, Director Hari has slowed down a bit with overly sentimental scenes .
