I am writing this on the day the final episode came out, and right now the rating for this show is 6.8 on IMDb and 7.14 on MAL. Honestly, I have no idea why. I know it's not the best show ever made, but I really enjoyed it!

The characters were all fun, the story wasn't amazing but it served it's purpose, and I loved the development of the relationship between rit and red. Honestly that was the highlight of the show, you don't see many romances that progress believably in tv -especially in anime-but I just loved how those two characters worked together.

Overall this show is pretty fun and will not waste your time! I would definitely recommend it.

The show wasn't half bad. Some parts were pretty cheesy but the characters weren't all bad and I would watch again. The plot line was a bit confusing. It felt like no one really knew what they were doing but they knew they had to do something. The art was very well done and didn't have that cheap look like some animes tend to have. I feel like somethings did feel a bit out of pocket and over exaggerated but that goes along with the cheesiness I had mentioned earlier, but at least it didn't have cheesy voice actors like lesser known animes usually do. I do feel like this anime has a possibility to be a bigger anime if the right people find it.

I rate this a 6/10 because its a good show but it could use some work. It is a great show but the beginning can be a little confusing. The title is very much like what happens in the show and I wouldn't change it, that may change though if I watched more. I would kinda recommend this to someone, this show is more of on the shows no one knows about and the low reviews/ stars don't help. This show is a show you could watch over and over and I think more people should give it a chance. If this show were a little more explainable and shows some backstory this show would probably be more recognized.

Initially, I didn't understand the plot going into the first episode; a former party member venturing out to collect herbs. It sounded so boring when I first heard it; and then I watched it.

Banished From the Hero's Party has a good dose of realism and realistic rom/com. It may seem boring at the start, but as it progresses, it delves deeper into the characters' backstories and motivations (as most anime does); the main character, Red, is a prime example of this.

In the past, he was a member of "The Hero's Party", but was forced to leave due to being labeled a liability by a member of his party. As such, he did so, and later went on to start another life in the countryside - as the title suggests. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a really good anime, among others; 10/10.

With fantasy and isekai being a dominant force in the anime business these days, you'd have to stop yourself and ask when enough is enough. There are moments when reading an anime title this long makes us feel like we're reading a meme. I'll just refer to this program as Banished from the Hero's Party for the purposes of this review and your sanity. As you could have predicted, the hero is expelled from the hero's celebration.

We follow protagonist Red, a D-rank adventurer expelled from a party, as the premise explains. Before being exiled by his party mates for being too skilled and advanced for him, he was known as Gideon Ragnason. The overall idea prepares the reader for his adventure and living in a fantastical setting, despite the fact that his history keeps coming back to haunt him. Rit, a young, charming woman who has become fond of Red throughout their time together, is also introduced to us in the interim. She obviously has her own motivations for leading such a carefree life, and later on, we learn more about her background and identity. Let's just say for the time being that the anime follows a cute couple that get along well.

At first, I thought it would wind up harem-y, but totally not. It was very sweet. It has mystery, twists and turns, romance, and even innocent family ties and values. I actually started welling up around episode 11 or 12. Completely binge worthy, I just wish there were more.

I would likely watch it again.

I had a few dumb scenes, but overall, it was a decent anime. Some of the characters were a little flat. For example, Ares motives are never adequately stated or shown-he's just bad for being bad's sake.. The deity aspect that they kept bringing up seemed like it wasn't well-rounded or thought out completely. The demons were barely two-dimensional.

There are some good things about this, though. The character "class" system is interesting, though I think it could have been clarified somewhat. I did like the main characters-Red and Rat-but the Hero seemed a little flat and forced as a character.

I would likely watch it again.

Speechless when I must describe how great this anime hope in the future Japan will make this kinda anime again cause the story, u can enjoy but that was so deep inside cause u can learn about life and I don't know anymore how to describe this amazing anime, So enjoy this!

The title is kinda self explanatory as far as what it's about. Banished From The Hero's Party is a great anime fantasy story that kinda blends in action/adventure, a little bit of rom/com(which I normally hate anything rom/com but hits the mark), mystery/suspense and really hits you in the feels for the characters. Some people may think it's corny or typical for anime. But it really is an entertaining show. It's really interesting considering it throws in some monsters that you'd typically see in fantasy video games like drakes. The story does seem a little aimless though, but that doesn't bug me at all. The voiceover actors do a really good job as far as portraying the characters (maybe except for whoever plays young Red/Gideon). I'm really wanting to see a second season for this show. It's really fun to watch. Give this one some love and support!

I think this show is a very good, intriguing and emotional show just in the first episode. I think this show captures anime in a very positive way, with the characters emotion being very extensive and the emotion really brings you in immediately.

I think that the main character is very well made, because he is very relatable to the watchers. He gets kicked out of a party for not being good enough and then decides that adventuring is not is not what he wants to live by, so he decides to live in the country and make a medical shop for the town people. I think that many people have thought of a somewhat similar to what some people have thought of, which is to live away from people to live a simple life.

I think that if you want to start an anime that will keep you attached to everyone you meet, this is the show for you to watch.

I give this show a 5 out of 10, despite the fact that it needs improvement. Although it is a fantastic show, the beginning can be a little perplexing. I wouldn't change the title because it accurately describes what happens in the episode; but, if I watched more, I may. This is more of a "show no one knows about" not exactly underrated, but not overrated. This is a program you could watch repeatedly, and I believe more people ought to give it a shot. This show would definitely be more well-known if it were a little easier to understand and provided some context, with those improvements, i think the show would be a great show to just sit and binge all day. It may not be as good as Jojo, but it has the potential to be one of those anime people will recommend you.

Like many here who left a review, I'll tell you the same thing. This show is greatly underrated. It's likely the usual bunch of trolls who get offended when a female is anything but a hopeless person clinging on to an unrealistic macho hero type.

I almost didn't watch this one due to the undeserved lower rating. It has taught me that I need to review some other titles I may have been skipping for the same reason.

This show is great on every angle, rewatchable and has great promise for more seasons to come. Do yourself a favor and give it a chance.

This anime is not too bad of an anime to watch its cute and has a good animation style and its was in English it also had a nice intro and it wasn't too bad on the yes either overall i think this is a good anime to watch if your looking for anime's that include magic or the tiniest bit of fantasy involved in it.i think its not a bad anime though the creator of this anime could have made it a fantasy anime but that's my opinion on the mater and also it was the anime's producers decision to not make it a fantasy i think if it was a fantasy anime i feel like this anime has a lot of potential that it:)

It a good break away from what we are used to. It doesn't make you focus on defeating the demon lord or defeating most it just a guy trying to live a normal life and you don't get to see that a lot in fantasy. I think one doesn't need to be explained and probably we don't need to know who the demon lord is we just have to know about every matter to the hero and the other heroes. I feel like this anime has a lot of potential and is a great anime it moves a little slow some times but over all. It a good show can't wait to watch more and see how this show would end and the progress this show will take.

This is the first anime I've rewatched. It's not the typical hero slays the villain story which makes it great. I would compare the general storyline with e.g. Frieren, where the protagonist ended an adventure and a new, completely different adventure starts. But the new adventure isn't just about fighting, it's about living and loving too. The characters are also well written in my opinion; of course it has the typical Disney-Princess elements and such, but I think it is all well placed and not at all too much. Further, there are a lot of tense and interesting fighting scenes making it appealing for anyone into adventures as well as romantic stuff. All in all one of the best animes, especially season 1 is absolutely great!
