This comedy anime is centred on Naoya; a first year at high school who has just plucked up the courage to tell Saki that he loves her. He is overjoyed when she agrees to be his girlfriend. Things don't go as expected for long; another girl, Nagisa, confesses her love for Naoya and he can't bring himself to turn her down! This being a harem series the three of them are soon living together. They don't want their school mates to find out so things get even more complicated when Rika, a popular vlogger finds out.

There is nothing deep and meaningful about this series... of course there isn't it is an ecchi harem show. There is however plenty enjoy. Every episode made me laugh many times. The characters might not be the most believable but they fit with the genre. The girls are each suitably different and Naoya isn't quite as sleazy as he might be; nothing too much happens between him and the girls and the occasional nudity is given the 'censor steam' treatment; at least in the version shown on Crunchyroll. The animation is pretty good as are the character designs. Overall I'd recommend this to anime fans wanting a good laugh; it's probably not for younger viewers though.

All that's needed to remember not to take harem seriously is this anime.

I knew right away that this was something I want to watch when I first saw GF GF reception and how everyone seemed to think it was cringe or some bs takes up space for no purpose. Something that is irrational, has a silly concept, or merely has a low mean score tends to be looked down upon solely because it is illogical, cringe-worthy, and blue-pilled. However, some anime are intentionally stupid, and for that reason, I don't understand why people take stupid anime so seriously. GF GF is a prime example of this.

This anime is absurd; it follows outrageous and ludicrous character behavior, with chemistry that fluctuates like a crazy trigonometric polynomial function. The plot does whatever the heck it wants, and I have a sneaking suspicion that it will get even more absurd in the future. But GF GF is so entertaining to watch because of all this silliness. In addition to the production value of this, which appears to be greater than that of any previous harem I can recall, Perhaps not quite as attractive as Oresuki, though. Overall, I truly look forward to GF GF, and it's okay to adore dumb stuff.

Fresh, modern and absolutely hilarious harem anime. All the characters are absolutely top notch and far from the boring stereotypes of the genre. This is the only harem anime with a real harem, it's something never head of!

The protagonist, our boy Naoyia, it's a mixture of genuinity and honesty taken to the extreme consequences. All the girls are well characterized and developed, and you cannot not also fall yourself for all of them.

For sure, best anime comedy of the year 2021.

Two years ago, when "Kanojo mo Kanojo" first broadcast, I saw two different kinds of reviews. While some viewers applauded the show for taking a fresh approach to harem comedies, others took it too seriously and expressed dissatisfaction over how ridiculous the show was or how each character behaved strangely. I really enjoyed the first season. Not just because of its original idea, but also because each episode had me laughing out loud. As someone who enjoyed this "trash" in the past, I'm happy to hear that a second season is coming.

Thus, Shino's manga arc will most likely be covered in this season. Since manga readers have long loved Shino, this is one of the best arcs to cover. This show's humor is still excellent, and fan service has been present since the first episode. The main distinction is how Shino enters the picture, adds herself to the harem, and creates some drama around Mirika's problem. The characters are still completely bonkers and behave in an abnormal manner. If you can acknowledge that this is a work of fiction and that there is no possibility that these events could occur in real life, then this program is still worth watching.

Girls lead the anime but the male character is super annoying. He is more like an idiotic pyscho who is super emotional and does meaningless things IDK why the girls like him he is personally the worst male character I have ever seen in an anime anime is overrated and was not worth my time left it at episode 10 as I could not bear naoya (the main male character) anymore and would recommend to watch any other anime or summer anime of this year.

This romcom takes a complete different approach than all other comparable animes. And wow, this is fun!

Naoya is overly honest and eager, so when Nagisa confesses to him, he can't turn her down, though having Saki already as his girlfriend. He decides to propose a love triangle to Saki, promising to make them both happy...

Each episode is really creative and the characters are unique, well developed and likeable. In addition the japanese voice cast, the animation and the music are really top-notch.

I you haven't seen it already, give it a shot. You won't regret it.

"Girlfriend, Girlfriend" may not be a flawless anime, but it's undeniably entertaining, and I'm eagerly hoping for another season! With Shino finally opening up about her true feelings, I'm really looking forward to more moments between her and Naoya-those interactions are a must-see. Overall, this series was a blast to watch, packed with humor and charm.

The characters are introduced well and have their own unique appeal, though I found Saki a bit more annoying than Hoshizaki. That said, Shino absolutely steals the show as the best character. And let's give credit to the MC for his impressive self-control-it's not easy being surrounded by so many tempting situations without crossing the line! This anime was a fun ride, and I'd love to see more of it."

Then this anime series could have gone very well, that is, the animation was quite beautiful, the plot could have been a lot better. But the problem with this anime is that the hateful character of Saki who always gets the programmer Naoya sometimes because in all the episodes he is takes a lotseveral shots always at all times together with Saki and I couldn't stand to watch anymore she's just an ugliest character in a lot of anime series that's why I really don't like this anime it's the worst one it came out at the second season my God I don't want itjust follow the second season because I never want to see Saki again to conclude vote 2.

If you like anime like, Rent a girlfriend, Quintessential Quintuplets, and many others like that, your going to love this one. Girlfriend, Girlfriend, is about the protagonists Naoya, who got a girlfriend he has loved for years. And then another girl confesses to him... so stop thinking and press play!

I found very reminiscent of the ego rent girlfrend what it's just amazing to see how much it means but in the end I personally not the smallest the first episodes is episode 1 to 3 were very good I enjoyed them but the end of this anime and most of the episodes that were in the middle I did not like like this night It's not me to look at and in my opinion I was personally very disappointed not so much I liked the plot more face characters and also the main protagonist who is supposed to be a good protagonist with an interesting story in my opinion was very very bad I did not I what it is at all.

The whole premise of the show is just so unbelievable and ridiculous.... And that is what makes it so funny! The characters are very fun and full of personality. The voice acting performances were also top notched and so hilarious! This has been one of my favorite romantic comedy anime series I have ever seen! I would highly recommend for someone looking for an outrageous plot and non-stop comedy gold! Also read the manga too!

After watching this Anime 2 episodes in, i was for sure not going to finish, because the main character really sucks, hes just too active and goofy, but somehow i just got pulled right into it, mainly, the concept reminded me of Domestic Girlfriend or rent a girlfriend, maybe thats why i just got pulled right into it. I kinda see why it has such low rating as 6.7, but weirdly enough i gave it 10 stars, why?

Well first, the animation was so great, it's honestly very good for such low rated anime, i really enjoyed the style of it, second, it had some funny moments, thats what i would call rom-com, and it truly was, third, since i didnt like MC, i'm happy we got more involved with different girls, so I saw less of the Goofy MC and more of the girls stories and etc. Thats it really, but somehow i stayed to the end and watched it all.

I'm really happy i got to see this gem, and hoping for 2nd season :)

To be real are all of you blind or have everyone lost good taste about anime it's not always good to be realistic in every place we all have to be realistic but that's why anime is made to make us escape reality so what is with these ratings it should go more higher. It is a too good comedy and harem anime and I personally want all of the girls to be happy and that he too marry all of them. I know it's not possible in Japan but if I were in his place no matter where I would have married them all and made them happy too.

This show is very easy going and often rely on crazy situation for comedy.

Definitely it deserve a watch.

It's out of realistic touch and not something u should take seriously at all.

Everything is written in such a silly way that u would find it hilarious.

The very concept of this show is hilarious.

But don't expect much from this show.

As it's needed to be watched with a light mood.

The anime main character are girls.

And it's kinda dive into male fantasy.

So if ur a girl watching it u might not like it at all.

Our protagonist don't have a charm , everything happening is just sudden for him.

He is a straightforward, idiot who is just lucky to be stuck in such situation.

Gentlemen get your value up and start being honest.

I was sure this would be yet another feminist wet dream but mann was I wrong. They make fun of both the male side and female side in a good way.

Most woman can not handle honest men, but what if they could. This show is super funny and actually more honest about a lot of male to female relationships.

Now our main guy here has Sirius stones for being so young and honest. He is also the typical dense guy as most of us start out as and it is really funny to watch.

This is a fact that is rooted in biology: Men want as many woman as they can get and woman want the best man they can find.

This creates this perfect situation, where the girls are seeing this guy as a valuable man. He has his own house, he has a job (If i am not mistaken) and he shows a capability to protect them.

The people who made this had a lot of fun with it and they understand gender biology and gender roles. They did take it to the extreme but it is funny.

You might read this as a woman or a soyboy and get mad but this is closer to the honest truth about woman and men.

I will say that the guy has some bad feminin traits that do show some time and you see the girls call him out of being disgusted for a short wile. It also happens the other way around to, where the masculine independent of man girl makes a mistake and attempts to sidestep the responsibility.

I do think that they could balance this out a little more by shoving more of the unflattering side of woman and making shore they come to terms with the consequences.

There is a lot more to be said but for now, I would recommend this show for sure.
