Season 4 started off odd - special treatment for some

Finally some new tests and tasks were added!

We have new Staff-members, including an American Seal.

We seem to be in Tasmania, although not entirely sure of that yet.

However, the obviously special treatment granted to 2 female competitors by all of Staff but Ant especially, was annoying.

Episode one Ant berrates all competitors who fails tasks, just like normal considering it trying to replicate army-like conditions.

Except two of the females who seem to struggle a bit more than the rest, they get a cushioned treatment with lift-you-ups and pep-talks.

They get soft starts, less risk (fire and other things) in the challenges and afterwards when they failed they get praise and a complete lack of pressure on what went wrong.

This continues to extreme levels in episode three.

Several competitors fail to report intel during a test, they get scolded for it all of them apart from the 2 with special-status for unknown reasons.

There isn't anything wrong with the treatment per say, if you would allow all competitors the same.

The show hopefully isn't about everyone taking part be granted a participation-medal?

What you see is what you get, and without pretenses.

SAS Australia has to be one of the best the best shows Channel 7 has ever done. For that, we have to thank the cast - being Ant Middleton, Billy Billingham, Jason Fox and Matthew Ollerton. Men who are honest, transparent, and true to themselves. What you see is what you get, and without pretenses. And that, is precisely what makes this show.

Well done. Season 2 totally redeemed itself. Great show guys

I have watched every single season of SAS Australia , SAS Who Dares Wins, and Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins. I am glad to say that the Directing Staff managed to produce a great season 2 of SAS Australia. Season 1 was an absolute joke with the people that they had on it and what they got away with because they were celebrities. Season 2 of SAS Australia totally redeemed itself and got back on track of what the selection course is like for the SAS. Thank you very much for that. Thank you also to all the DS for producing a great show to watch. I look forward to the next show.

Not for everyone.

In my opinion, this is honestly one of the best shows on Australian TV, & it has some valuable lessons. It might not be for everyone, but it's very entertaining, & Ant, Billy, Foxy & Ollie do an awesome job.

Take or leave it.

A Celebration of War Criminals and celebrity nobodies

Why does Australia feel we have to bombarded with the constant incessant reality trash ? If it isn't big bore, Australia's got idiots or the verbal diorrhea. It's trash garbage like SAS Australia with washed up "celebrity " nobodies . I know it's yet another copy pasted program from overseas yet come on give us some decent programming back that has some intelligence . Have no time for celebrating war criminals when the Au SAS are being investigated for war crimes in Afghanistan.

Oh No, what a complete joke!

This show is an obvious spin off of the regular SAS Who Dares Wins series. SAS Australia is a complete joke. The regular series is brilliant but this spin off and the Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins series are utterly a waste of time as you will just get angry watching the show. How do these celebrities think that they can pass a real SAS course when they can't run, carry packs, have mental or psychological problems or turn off their egos? The SAS selection course is extremely difficult to pass even for highly trained, experienced military personnel. Only 4 or 5 on average out of about 100 to 200 military personnel pass the course. I only watched the first 3 episodes of this show before I had to stop watching it. They need to stop calling this a SAS Course if celebrities who clearly are not fit enough continue to pass the course. Please change the name to Military Bootcamp or something else as these people passing the tv course clearly would not stand a chance to pass the real SAS course. This show has really gone downhill and needs to get back on track. Thank you

Abuse for entertainment.

Just shocking that we see the abuse if human beings as entertainment. Makes the Kardashians look like Shakespeare. What have we come to?

Fantastic Show - love the Staff - great guys.

Sincerely hope they keep Ant and his boys on this show. My family watch it religiously. Such a well grounded show which mentally and physically help all the contestants and viewers I am sure. It is an absolute pleasure to watch. Inspirational. Love the Afghanistan back drop and countryside. Great leveller for all the contestants in the conditions they endure. All the contestants in this episode have been fantastic. Thank u very much for all the preparation and planning it takes to produce this show - thank u Channel 7. Wish it was on more than twice a week and run longer. Please keep the show as it is.

Thank u.

Awesome!!!

Wow that was the best season yet 4 , now Ant has moved to Aussie from the uk version I can definitely see why he was frustrated with the Uk edition. From the out set it was full on and some of the tasks he would have never been allowed to do in the UK week done Ant Middleton awesome , just wish they didn't bleep out the swearing ,sounds like a heart monitor beeping so often.

Change channel.

What is the point of such rubbish? Complete manufactured rubbish. One of the most cringeworthy and dramatised shows to date.

Full of over the top machismo. Full of patriotic and war hero like idolatry. Tries to glorify this.

New International Version He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

Clubbed to death with a wet lettuce

For gods sake this program is utter s::t . It's turned into a touchy feely bs .

It's like I'm a celebrity get me out of here. It has lost its way with the same stale scripted stunts and scenarios With preferential treatment for the female contestants.

Utter rubbish, ant Middleton has turned into a shoulder to cry on hugging everyone and offering to solve everything with the same stale hard interview SAS Australia needs a total overhaul instead of a cash grab , I bet the ratings are poor .

The original SAS which was aired in the UK was pretty good until Ant left. He then took it to Australia and the first couple of series were good but this has just degenerated to soft garbage and lame challenges, with some of the women getting preferential treatment.

They should change the title of this to 'Ant's Military Bootcamp' or something as there is no way this can be compared to SAS selection. On the latest series in episode 1 they have a tiny little fame on their backs to immediately run into water? How the hell is that SAS standard of selection?

I am not sure where Foxy has gone but the show is weaker with his departure. Ant has tried to bring in a Navy Seal but the lack of personality in the instructor weakens the show even further.

Time to give the one up Ant. This course has run its course!

The cut down cheap version.

They're just clipping the ticket now for $. It's all a bit predictable and they have made it less interesting rather than mixing it up with some new elements to keep an audience engaged. They have taken out so many of the really interesting aspects that made the earlier versions so exciting to watch.

Why does SAS Australia keep featuring convicted drug smugglers on the show?

Why does SAS Australia keep featuring convicted drug smugglers on the show? The program typically showcases celebrities and public figures, and I believe that the criminal histories of some participants give them a privilege that ordinary people do not have to participate in the show. I also believe it is morally wrong to attempt to increase the show's ratings in this way.
