Christmas Town is a movie about a Christmas town. The town is all about Christmas. There are people who love Christmas in this town. But what the casual viewer doesn't realize is that the entire town looks a giant parking lot outside of a walmart with buildings that were built with garbage. The people who live in Christmas town must have all kinds of diseases and infections because of the structure of the entire town being made of garbage. All in all, the woman in Christmas town discovered the meaning of Christmas, found love with a strange guy, and repaired her relationship with her father after defeating him in hand-to-hand combat. I missed some of the movie because I was busy throwing up. Ho ho ho!
Poor boy. Mom has to drive a &60,000 Mercedes-Benz SUV. He lives in a $1 million home. But Mom is too busy to get him a haircut and, as a result, he has a serious discipline problem. Dad is a COOK (gasp, how low can you go?). Do you know how that makes the millions of people who cook for a living feel? This is the kind of crap Hollywood has churned out to insult and humiliate "middle America". No wonder that hate us in Kansas.
I don't know where to start. There's so many wrong things with this movie.
The worst Christmas movie EVER.
Everything is forced.
The characters, the situations, the plot.
A woman meets a man and someone puts a mistletoe above their heads and almost forced her to kiss him!? WTF?!
The kid is SO rude!
I didn't like it at all and I LOVE Christmas movies!!
Of course they end up together!
Nothing is believable.
Low budget but that's not an excuse for the bad script, acting, photography, music and so many etceteras.
It's a pity, because it ruins the spirit of Christmas.
Please don't watch it. It's a waste of time.

There are blatant hints from when they first hit the town that the real Santa has his workshop and base of operations here. From that point on it's a race for the kid to get real proof and more importantly for Mom to believe. Throughout all this there is an unimpressive romance brewing between Mom and Kevin.
A movie like this has little story and it's pointless to judge the acting because that doesn't really matter. There are some low-key funny moments which probably appeal more to a young audience.

Do to a limited budget the special effects in this film are "Terrible" which spoils the overall film however the story does deliver.
What this is about is that a woman (Nicole de Boer) discovers the spirit of Christmas while visiting her estranged father in a town that is decked out for the holidays.
While in town her son discovers the town secret and try's to convince his mom that "All is Not What It Seems".
Now the last shot in this film is laughable. It looks like they spent $5 on a fake Santa Sleigh but the film is still one of those you will enjoy watching with your small children.
Now many people hate this film but I think they just "Hate Christmas Movies".

¿Sabías que…?
- ErroresThe mechanic's name is spelled Roxy on the side of her work truck and business garage. In the end credits, her name is spelled Roxie.
- Citas
Alison Kay: You don't have any... Christmas spirit at all, do you?
Elizabeth 'Liz' McCann: Ugh. It's an inconvenient holiday.
