The sequel is still a masterpiece.
And as with the previous one, it's not a children movie or aimed at children.
It contain grim humor with dark and scary moments, sexual references.
So if you start watching the movie with your children, thinking it's innocent and for kids, you will be in for a surprise.
If you loved the first one you will love this one as well.

A simple, but a funny movie, as expected. I think Checkered Ninja (2018) has a better story, which makes it slightly better than Checkered Ninja 2 (2021), but otherwise, Checkered Ninja 2 is a respectable sequel. Recommending for those who like the first one, but still, as I thought of Checkered Ninja, I think Checkered Ninja 2 also should have 16 years as the minimum age because of its rough language.

I watched the first movie about 13 times (and I wish I was exaggurating) because it was so good, this movie however.. I have no plan to rewatch it, it's got the same characters for the most part except they feel a lot "safer" in the humor, something which disappointed me. If you loved the first movie, definitely watch this one, but keep your expectations a bit lower. And (in the norwegian dub) I'm disappointed that they didnt have the same actor from the last film voice all the characters, it gave it a lot more charm. There's also not really any super interesting plot points like in the first movie.. it just doesn't have any super memorable points, the only parts I can remember is that the main character is in thailand and one scene where the tourist guide is in a room with gas canisters for whatever reason and the rest is pretty much all gone from my mind.

Checkered Ninja 2 follows up on the 1st. The humor is primarily the same, the characters go again and this time the setting is primarily Thailand. Unfortunately, there is a slight metal fatigue in the film. The villain does not seem nearly as dangerous, TN is not nearly as sharp in his remarks, and these are things that sat spot on in the first film.

Mattesen, the writer of "Ternet Ninja" the first book is back with a film based on his second book "Ternet Ninja 2". Mattesen continues down the same path with the main characters from the first. The humor is intact, and has that truly Mattesen sharpness to it, that Danes absolutely adore, there is no filter and the underlying humor is drippleing in this one with sexual references in abundance in that subtle way that Mattesen does (that the movie takes place mostly in Thailand, helps it a lot in that regard). If you liked the first one youll love the second one, though its not for the youngest audiences just like his first animation movie - "Terkel i knibe" had is really dark and scary moments. The characters progress nicely and evolves and even Sune gets a chance to redeem himself. A classic movie is born, and I can't imagine he wont continue with a third book and movie.

First part was better.. but I love how they created 2nd part they way he loves his step bro and the story is good. I love the ending scene the most and I wish if this movie has a 3rd part..

Anders Matthesen returns with another outrageously funny forage into the world of our favourite kick-ass ninja doll and his 13-year-old master. The setup is largely the same as in the original, so for the first time in Matthesen's career, he can be accused of a slight copy+paste. But despite this, Ternet Ninja 2 has got enough funny exchanges and politically incorrect hilarities with its heart at the right place to make the sequel almost as fun and acute as the original. Brilliant voice acting by Herman Flesvig is the icing on the cake.

I loved this one and the first one. May not be recommended for younger children to watch but I thoroughly enjoyed Checkered Ninja 1&2. Hoping for a number 3 to be made. It's different but I really liked it.
