If you thought that title was funny then you love this awkward on purpose waste of time. Fans will say "you just don't get it" but like he's said about his other shows "it's all in the edit" and well this was not edited.
From the beginning, Tim tries to inject awkwardness into the show and over does it to the extreme point of me toiling around with whether this is funny or not. It just becomes ridiculously immature. And finally when he does seem to gather his faculties about himself he just bombs and then played some mental masturbation mind game garbage that's just absolutely NOT funny in any way, shape or form. I lost an immense amount of respect for Tim Heidecker from this stand-up. I went more than halfway through just hoping, for his sake and mine, that he would do or say something or anything funny. But that did not happen. And to other fans of Tim's other stuff, go ahead, see for yourself! And yes I do get the paradoxical ant-comedy aspect and in some cases it works, but definitely not in this one. I have it 2 stars only because of the microphone fumbling introduction. Everything else sucked. Boooo!
Funniest thing I've seen in ages. Fans of Tim and Eric know what's going on and will appreciate the genius of this special. Tim takes his standard narcissistic bully character and makes him a hapless stand-up, full of self-loathing that manifests as anger towards those around him, including the audience, the stage crew and his ex-wife.
As a Tim fan this was very hard to watch.
Literally nothing funny was said in one hour of stand up.
"I like Lady Gaga, but whats next? Lord GooGoo?" This is the quality of jokes through out the show
Also lets not forget the comedy gem "Do you remember the band U2" repeated 20 times
Just horrible.

Tim Heidecker. Oh you little genius.
A friend of mine told me to check this little "special" out and see if it belongs within the strange pantheon of Heidecker's previous work. For those of you familiar with Tim and Eric, Steve Brule and Tom Goes to the Mayor, then you will know what you are in for. Unfortunately, I'm sure the crowd was not ready for the performance, but hey, they might have had an inkling into what was happening.
Heidecker basically pulled a big meta commentary on washed up comics. The jokes were bland, he complained about PC culture and did all the things that some whiney conservative man babies like Jerry Seinfeld and Todd Phillips have been complaining about. He proves once again that talent and inventiveness is necessary for comedy. If anything, Heidecker is an OG of this type of comedy, even though Sacha Baron Cohen and Eric Andre have surpassed him. But rather than complain about the state of "woke" society Heidecker keeps doing stuff to compete and stay relevant, such as doing a hackneyed comedy "special" like this or doing a series of commercials for Purple mattresses or heck, playing a courtroom series as perfectly straight.
I doubt few will get this special, but for those that found this bizarre take on comedy refreshing, then check this weird show out.
