YouTube has ordered a presentation for animated half-hour comedy Dumb People Town based on the Sklar Brothers hit podcast, from Randy and Jason Sklar, Daniel Van Kirk, Will Arnett’s Electric Avenue, Artists First and Sony Pictures TV, where Electric Avenue is under a deal.

It is part of YouTube’s (and all major streaming platforms’) push into adult animation. YouTube’s first full-length adult animated comedy series, Dallas & Robo, premiered on its Premium service earlier this year.

Written and executive produced by the Sklar brothers, Van Kirk and Julius Sharpe, Dumb People Town centers around a family in a Florida town struggling with the most important question of our times: Is it better to be dumb and happy? Or smart and miserable?

Arnett and Marc Forman executive produce via Electric Avenue along with Peter Principato and Joel Zadak via Artists First. Sony Pictures TV is distributing the project.

On Tuesday, April 3, FX premieres the second season of its critically acclaimed X-Men-based show Legion, and you can watch Legion live online. While the X-Men are perpetually some of the most popular characters in the world of comics – and have starred in multiple cartoons over the years – it wasn’t until the 2017 premieres of FX’s Legion and Fox’s The Gifted that they entered the live-action TV realm. Well, sort of. While both Legion and The Gifted are connected to the X-Men, neither actually features Charles Xavier’s famous super-powered team.

While the summertime usually means reruns, NBC is turning back the clock with a brand new series dealing with the wizardry of Merlin, which premieres on Sunday, June 21 at 8 Pm Et on NBC. Anthony Head plays King Uther Pendragon on the series and Colin Morgan steps into the robe of the title character, Merlin, on the series and the two actors recently held a conference call to discuss their new series. Here's what they had to say.

Hey Anthony, you've done a lot of things but I don't think you've done very much this period of the Camelot period and so forth. Is this really your first time in this - doing a show in this era?

Anthony Head: It's my first time as a knight. To be honest there's not actually that much of this kind of era been done.

Last week of May was quite eventful for Udita Goswami. Apart from shooting non-stop for the final schedule of Deepak Tijori directed ‘Fox’ in a gruelling week, she was also required to make back to back appearances in cities outside Mumbai. No wonder, it took a toll on her body and made her feel like a zombie.

The collection will be released nationwide on May 7. Thomas Lennon takes his comedy very seriously, even when it's painful. Take perhaps his most famous role, as Lt. Jim Dangle, the macho police officer -- with the trademark mustache, highlighted hair, and tiny, tiny tight shorts -- he plays on the comedy series Reno 911!, now entering its sixth season on Comedy Central.
