Not an easy film to watch...but worth your time.

After I finished watching "Let's Eat", I found myself crying...which is likely the way you will respond if you watch this nice short film.

The story is told with very little dialog. It's the story of an Asian immigrant mother and her young daughter and through the course of the story, you see the mother show her love through cooking. I'd say more...but I don't want to spoil it.

The animation isn't top notch, simply because it's not a Pixar or Dreamworks film. But the art style and choices more than make up for the CG used in the story. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that the mother never appears to age through the story...when obviously the story takes place over decades. Still, it's a sweet tale and is well worth your time.
