Not bad

This film was a low budget film. I don't think it is a sci-fi film. More a sort of bizarre cult type film. Set in a world where technology has gotten worse rather than better.

I like most of it, I mean I wouldn't watch it again but I came out of it thinking about what if that happened to us.

It looked great for the most part and I really like the score. Wonder if I can get that anywhere?

I really like Max Blizard, he was a funny character. Most of the characters were pretty good. The main character was okay as well but it sort of shifted from him and the Alfred character.

It is a good low budget film but I would like to have seen what it would have been like if it did have a budget.

A interesting watch!

Viewed this in Newtown when it was the opening night film of the Fantastic Planet film fest. I was surprised to see such a unique film at a Sci Fi festival. Great story and boy does it look nice! Reminded me of some more euro style films rather than the usual Australian films we are used ta seeing!

Bring back genre film-making I say. Australia needs more films like this. More genre film-making.

This film won 'Best Australian Film' at the awards of Fantastic Planet and rightly so! It is great. It is a little off the wall and I am sure there will be some sooky old Australians who won't like it because they just want boring ozzy dramas like movie versions of home and away!

This film rocks on many levels!

Best Film Ever!

I saw this film at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival. It won the award for Best Film that year. What a film! What an achievement! The director said it cost $15,000 to make. It is amazing what they have created for such a small cost. It shows what can be done be a talented group when they dedicate themselves to something. I hope it gets a cinema release because it deserves it! The story is great and reminded my of some of my fav films. It has the vibe of 1984 but is not the same. Well done to all involved. I am very keen to see what the director does next. I have been looking at his previous films. Looks like this is his first feature film. 10/10

Great surprise!

I love going to film festivals and seeing something I never would get the chance to see. I watched Eraser Children in Colorado. I really liked it.

Visually it looks stunning and the storyline is something new to me which is nice. In the film technology seems to be worse than it is now and fuel has run out (which I think will happen to us soon). This film comments on these current issues but in a more of the vein of a satire.

The actors are great with highlights being the transvestite maid in all the commercials and the actor that plays one of the leads, Alfred. You can see these filmmakers have a clear style. Would be interesting to see what they do next.

Good! Watch it twice!

I liked this film. Especially on the second viewing. There are many things I missed the first time around. I liked it both times and thought it was funny.

I love some of the characters created in it and the girl in the checkered adds.

I would like to get the DVD and see if there are many behind the scenes as I read about the way it was made and it was interested.

All in all a good film and I would probably even watch it a 3rd time! I am looking forward to some more cool low budget films like this in the future.

10/10 for creativity!
