Movie is awesome. The story is so real, so deep, that it makes you to wipe out a tear or a few. Great movie about real friendship, deep and meaningful life. It is full of beautiful moments and dissapointments. Its about real emotions, like friendship, love, anger, dedication and lots other. Kim Da Mi was on fire - so good acting. She becomes one of my favorite asian actresses.

Movie is slow paced, step by step leading you till the peak, which is real emotional bomb, exploding your mind within a few astonishing moments. Playfull, emotional, sometimes sad. Some heroe's actions were questionable, but overall - movie is a great choice 👍

Soulmate is such a beautiful take on friendship and what it truly means to have a soul mate. I cried a lot watching this movie just because it was so beautiful. Kim Da Mi is a brilliant actress and this role solidifies her ability to take on anything but who stood out for me was Jeon so Nee, her quiet charm, the ease of her gentleness on screen captures the role she plays just too well.

A well-directed movie, the merge between past and present never left you confused and even the cliffhanger parts were played out correctly too, Give it a watch if you've seen "Beaches" or you just want to watch something that will stir you up.

What happens when 2 friends start living apart in their own life full of struggles and hardships, with a lot of dreams and ambitions to be fulfilled. Soulmate manages to tell the story of this friendship that changes or develops the characters over the course of their lives. The beautiful chemistry of a great bond is elegantly displayed by Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee.

In essence, the film focuses on the story of the characters' personal journeys and transition from adolescence to adulthood. The movie captures beautiful stills of Jeju Island and the nostalgic BGM makes it more pleasant to watch.

My Rating : 7/10.

Two friends totally opposite to each other living their dreams differently (actually one is living her parents' dream and the other one is living her friend's dream). The way they depict their characters is just amazing. Freedom is just another word for nothing to lose, that literally hits hard. At the end they live the life totally opposite they lived before. (Spoiler: And the baby is a blessings for her. It gave her the responsibility to settle down.) There's nothing wrong in either living a carefree life or living a settled life. Every life is beautiful till you enjoy it.

The movie is great. The way they protray every single character is just marvelous. The rise and transition of emotion gives me pure joy. It's simple and complex at the same time. It feels like Schrodinger's smiley :): I am happy and sad at the same time.

Why I watch this movie? Well, in my college days, everyone named our duo as SOULMATE (me and my friend-roommate). This is the reason I started watching this movie. We used to share every single moments of our life. We laugh, we cry, we study, we try, we travel altogether. At our brightest moment, we were together. (Well, I'm straight so don't mean it otherwise.) Now we don't talk much, but maybe we still know we'll be there for each other if we need or maybe I'm delusional, ha ha ha.

Soulmate delivers the sweetness and pain of friendship. Kim Da-mi and Jeon So-nee's chemistry makes me feel a strong bond and deep emotions.

The cinematography is very beautiful and warm giving a lot of impression of the good old days in jeju island.

I love the details used in this film such as paintings, earrings, and several other things that really support their story.

The narration is neat with several twists until finally being slapped with a very bitter reality that makes me feel broken, sad, and miss my best friend.

At the end we know why they really deserve to be called "Soulmate".
