Thought to have been exclusive to Xbox 360, Namco Bandai Games in Japan released the PlayStation 3 version with extended features such as the new playable character Patty Fleur, Flynn Scifo as a permanent party member, new costumes, new cut-scenes, new Arts and many more only for Japan.
This is the first Tales video game series ever to feature a dog character that can be controlled during battle. All the previous Tales series had human-like characters to control in battles.
The English dubbing for the character Leblanc is inconsistent: he is voiced by JB Blanc in his first few appearances but is later voiced by David Vincent going forward.
