It's so bad. How many times can this guy say "okay!"? Why are there so few dinosaurs? Why do my kids like it so much? It feels like they took actors from a show and followed them with a camera when they did random every day things, while very loosely tying it into the show they're from by randomly dropping in quotes and having them wear hats with the show name on it.
Most kid shows I can tolerate, even if they're not great. But this one... it's just. So. Very. BAD. This is the first time I've ever reviewed one of the shows my kids watch, and I just had to go it because I'm so annoyed that something like this exists.

Noticing a big separation in ratings and I can see why based on the seasons I've seen. Netflix/Amazon appears to have a version that isn't hocking toys/terrible production values.
There is also another version I saw on Peacock that seems to have terrible production values with an extremely tenuous connection to the Netflix/Amazon version.
I've also seen one that I think was on Youtube that had the same name, but was mostly unboxing/selling toys.
My kiddo doesn't have extremely distinguishing preferences so the brand keeps him interested even in low quality versions.
Overall: Not a lot of education content, highly variable quality (is this an IP enforcement issue?)

First, the whole, "xx minutes earlier" thing is stupid and always has been. It is bad writing and a huge red flag that should tell the viewer that what they're about to watch is stilted dreck.
Second, there is zero educational value here. This someone's wild fever dream based loosely on a kids big book of dinosaurs and watching half of one of the Harry Potter movies while having a reaction to allergy medication. That's the most polite way I could explain whatever this was.
The acting is painful to watch. I could feel my brain cells crying out in terror. Whoever came up with this should be arrested for their crimes against humanity.

T. Rex ranch is a joyful and entertaining kids' show, but you have to know that it's actually 2 shows. There's the original show which was created by Aaron and LB and is an absolute masterpiece ( rating: 10/10) and then there's the new show, made by the cursed Cocomelon creators, Moonbug kids, who took over the show and ruined it! (Rating: 2/10) If your kids see this show, please only show them the good original episodes made before 2020. The original show is quite well made. It has a fun premise, engaging stories and characters and above all it's absolutely hilarious! It's a perfect blend of toy reviews and action adventure!
I felt I needed to rate and review this show. My son watches it right now as his first choice. The scripting is pretty bad. They are either hocking some toy at kids that they get sponsored for or doing something with dinosaurs just to keep within the theme of the show. There is nothing and I mean nothing educational about this show. For me, I feel that's a huge missed opportunity. My son loves dinosaurs and I think he probably knows more than anyone on this show (he's 3). That being said he gets nothing from this show but entertainment. If they would consider the entertainment factor mixed with some education I feel everyone would be better off. They think this show is a Jurassic park/world knockoff. It isn't. It's for kids. Act like it is. Educate them. Teach them about dinosaurs. Not act like idiots with nerf guns and cheap animations.
