Some of the dialogue between actors Jason Allen Wear and Jacob McGregor was altered by said actors during their altercation. Mr. Wear (Danny) also adjusted some of his dialogue from the original script by David Slayter during his emotional scene with his prayer to God during the cemetery visit with his character (Danny) and his nephew Jason, played by McGregor.
Starting production back in February 2022, the Cast and Small crew planned for a 15 day film schedule to complete the production to its entirety which ultimately did not happen and turned into a 2 year consistent struggle to get the film finished. Though struggles and hard times were at hand a great majority of the cast and crew stayed focused and came together as a team more importantly and a Christ-like family in bringing this film and the message within it to a final completion as of late April 2024. Though a number of original crew members and some actors backed out during the middle of production (reasons why the push-back) God came through in bringing newcomers Jason Allen Wear, Lora and her son Zach Ebadian to the table who were willing to work for nothing in helping Mr. Slayter and his family finish this film behind and in front of the camera, ultimately making it a true blessing and the film to be better than ever. Mr. Slayter has spoken highly and will forever be grateful for everyone involved in the making of this film but especially the ones who came in and stayed until the project was finished.
Originally written as a short by Mr. Slayter, and even began production back in 2020, due to the calling from God, Mr. Slayter felt it was best to rewrite this film as a full feature.
The diner featured in the film, formerly known as Dee's Diner, now known as Across The Street Diner owned by Chef Andres and located in downtown Corsicana TX, was also used and featured in the film Element .245 Zombie, in which Mr. Slayters character Jackal was shot and killed in, in the beginning of the film.
Features parts of the trailer for the film Element .245 Zombie (2011) along with a copy of the DVD by Paul McConnell and Randall Tykilla, the first film Mr. Slayter acted in when he was just 18. Playing a werewolf named Jackal and multiple zombie extras later in the film. Mrs. Rogers was also featured as a waitress in the film.
