This series is amazing . The actors are so good, their chemistry is everything. They conveyed so many emotions in this short series. It is absolutely amazing.... I hope there will be a second season
I was surprised to see a kdrama on two young men falling in love so I watched this show right away. I am touched by the emotions and raw intensity of our 2 leads. Their performance are fantastic and believable, considering the delicate topic.
Normally, I am a strong believer in spending maximum screen-time to focus on the main characters storyline with minimal distractions by subplots that don't always add to the show or complement the main story line. In this case, however, probably 90% of the time is spent on the couple and they are always together. Granted, the length of each episode being extremely short may explain this, nonetheless I still find this to be a little too condensed or concentrated for my taste. I would like to know more about each of our leads, how each of them lives, thinks and behaves with other people. I want to see their longing for each other when they aren't together. Especially I want too see and feel their frustration, hesitation and internal conflict as each person contemplates his true feeling for the other. Because of such short duration, a more organic exploration of the transition from bromance to love wasn't possible and it's a shame, in my opinion.
One aspect I thoroughly disliked is their master-servant relationship. Is it really plausible that such an arrangement exists in a school between two students, in today's world? On the positive side, I guess one can argue that the 'master' truly loves his 'servant' friend deeply because, firstly, he was the one to initiate the confession and, secondly, when his father found out about them, he 'sacrificed' himself by submitting to his father's will against his own wish.
Despite these critiques, I am thoroughly impressed by the actors and how they delivered this short but intense and genuine love story. I can't wait to see more kdramas that explore romances like this.

I was anxious with the censorship that could disrupt the whole story but honestly, this drama was better than expected. We got two great underrated young actors that really interests us on what's gonna happen to them despite their "master-servant relationship". I even liked that we got to see the character Kang Gook's martial arts performance. Literally all the scenes involving him here are fireeeeee!
Some argue that the short was too short but this short is better than some of the kdramas that literally take an hour in every episode. This drama fit the bill at being short but sweet! Also the music was nice enough on the ears!
Definitely worth the shot if you prefer your "innocent BL" and don't have time to binge dramas with long episodes.

Finally! The first Korean BL Drama and I'm quite surprised that it's really good. The only thing I'm complaining about is how short it is. It's a crime to create such a good drama only to have the episodes 10 mins in length. Where your Eyes Linger deserves a one hour per episode length just like most Kdramas. I hope WYEL gets a second season but longer this time. Nonetheless, I loved it.
" Where your Eyes Linger " was a pretty good romance.
The pacing, for most of it, was nice, smooth and the inner dialogues just created the perfect angst atmosphere for a dramatic love story that had a huge climax in the end. They actually wrapped things up masterfully and gave the drama a satisfying conclusion that ended all loose ends.
However, towards the middle of the drama, the story was way too fast for the progress of the love story. It felt a bit chopped and rushed.
But, other than that, the performances were great and the story strong.
So, overall, seven out of ten.
