Why why why did they make this utter rubbish. Why my eyes why.

The dads are decent actors I guess as was the therapist but can't carry the show.

The 'teen' actors all look 30 and are terrible actors. I spent most of their scenes waiting for them to be over.

It's like someone put a teen drama in the AHS house and they are play acting.

I tried to force myself to watch both episodes and gave up half way thru the second episode.

There are a few episodes that are creepy, mostly from season 1. But season 2...borderline unwatchable. Unlike the original AHS there's no "holy ****" moments only "ew". The plots are so thin and there's no big twists or reveals. It's a real shame because the acting isn't bad and I could see a lot of the leads being brought in to the proper AHS. But I feel sorry for the actors and actresses that were sold the role based on the brand and instead they were given such poorly written plots to work with. Either Ryan Murphy needs to take a more hands on approach and inject some life in to this series or it should be left in the ground because at the minute it's an embarrassment to the AHS name.

The only real good episodes are 5 titled Ba'al and 6 titled Feral. The rest have some good moments or ideas but otherwise mediocre. I think the reason why those 2 episodes i mentioned work is because they're more adult oriented stories and actually have good casts. I felt like the other episodes catered more towards a teen audience. Both in the sense of storyline but also with actors chosen, I mean seriously Kaia Gerber? She may be pretty but she cannot act if her life depended on it. And she gets way too much screen time as well. Also, can we give Murder House a rest already? It was nice seeing some characters back, but on the whole I think we can move on. I still like the overall premise of the show of having different anthology based episodes. Often times regular AHS will start off strong and quickly become muddled towards the middle when the writers clearly don't know what else to do with the storyline so this format provides a little more focus. So I think if they dropped the teen crap and didn't hire the latest Gen Z star, they could actually have a hit show on their hands again.

I'm an avid Murphy/Falchuk fan, that likes most of their work and has watched all of the AHS seasons (some of those were also not of their previous caliber). The first season of Stories is boring, lacks substance and frankly, is a strange offering from a franchise that's given so much variety and talent. It received many bad reviews. I believe they have listened to what has been said.

Season 2 of Stories is interesting, creative, spooky and imaginative, with original ideas and great acting. Some fan favourites return and some history from AHS looks back at us (if you've watched the show you'll know what I'm talking about, I won't spoil the fun). It's creepy and entertaining.

I had already rated the previous season with a 5, which was quite generous and have now changed it to a 7.
