Starlite

There were some really beautiful shots, especially of the sky and that young woman Lily Czarnecki. Nice use of 16mm, which I grew particularly fond of under the study of a certain mentor. Usually I like my films with a more in depth plot. Well, maybe in depth is not the word I'm looking for. I guess what I mean is more clear cut. I left with a lot of questions unanswered, but I'm assuming that that's kind of the point, right? The thing I don't understand that causes me discomfort is why they had that actor sing. That was rough to get through. Couldn't they have just had him speak the words instead? I don't know. Experimental isn't really my thing, but this was a pleasant watch.
