Why the story is very absurd? The cinematography is meh, AND THE VFX WHAT THE MAN? The villain is very noob, the story is too fast, the villain just like a cameo(The appearance is brief). The main character's motivation that comes from his father doesn't really affect the whole story in the film. The VFX is really messed up, really bad, just look like "sinetron" what the hell men. The cast are ok, not bad not good either, there are a few cameos which, in my opinion, are mediocre. In conclusion this film is really messed up with a story that is too rushed, The main character's motivation seems strange, the film is packaged very badly, especially in the vfx section, the acting is also mediocre. Oh yes, the comedy is too forced to exist. When in the serious part there is still comedy. I do not recommend you watch this film. Sorry for Atta Halilintar but the movie is meh :)
"Ahsiap Man" is both a satire and a sincere tribute to everyday heroes. What I appreciated most was how grounded it felt. Despite the "superhero" label, it's really a film about community, kindness, and doing the right thing even when you're scared or unsure. The comedic elements are strong, but the emotional undercurrents make the film linger long after it ends. It's a rare kind of comedy-one with depth, character, and a message worth sharing. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to laugh and feel something real. Ahsiap Man" is proof that great storytelling doesn't need capes or explosions-just characters you care about, a message that rings true, and the courage to be honest. It's a film that reminds you why we tell stories about heroes in the first place-not because they're perfect, but because they try to do good in a messy, complicated world. And sometimes, that's more powerful than any superpower.
This film is hilarious, heartfelt, and proudly local. The film captures the essence of what makes everyday people heroic-not superpowers, but courage, kindness, and persistence. The main character is someone we all recognize: not perfect, not confident, but willing to try. The writing is sharp and full of quotable lines, especially if you're familiar with the local slang. The action is modest but creatively done, and the emotional beats land surprisingly well. It's a film made with love, and it shows. More than just a parody or a comedy, "Ahsiap Man" is a celebration of community and identity.
Watched just 30min-ish, was so boring. The story line was just flat and sometime confusing. It feels like a movie that was built to come out in the dead zone of winter. Crass, mawkish and annoyingly smug. A working concept. A wrongfully constructed movie. An overlong comedy about ignorant superheroes. The people who made the trailers for this movie seem to have a better idea of what it should be than the people who made the movie. I am not saying this Ashiap movie is not worth to watch, but putting some religious sauce into the scene just make it worse. There are just lot of other holiday movies much better than this.
Wow, it's cool that Atta can make a film like this. Very funny and very entertaining anyway. The clash with the local superhero played by Atta is really cool, it's really funny but there's a lesson too, the story plot can also be captured well. The storm is really cool, the film really bounces. The players really animate the characters in the roles. The story plot is neatly and sweetly packaged and easy to catch for the audience. Zul's fighting spirit who never gives up in achieving his obsessions and dreams. This movie is really cool, Atta. Taking pictures is also really good. Cool production. The plot is good and the overall story is good.
