Cobra Kai fan fiction fun - silly but some may like that!

Some fan fiction loosely based around big shot villain John Kreese, which is more just B-movie level action and camp fun. A short free ten minute vid on YouTube, and you've got to learn your trade somehow.

Low budget and little dialogue, it's just big boys fooling around like as if they were kids copying the Rambo movies back in the day.

Problem is that Cobra Kai has usurped this with the Kreese backstory in Cobra Kai season 3, which unsurprisingly was far superior not that I'm wholly knocking this effort.

This is silly cheap fun, and not to be taken seriously. I never expected a fan fiction spin off like this on Kreese but then again I never expected Cobra Kai!

Good luck to the creators in their next efforts.

A powerful tongue-in-cheek performance from actor Keith Stahle

Certainly no 'Apocalypse Now' but perhaps a little better character than the series canon effort.

I am a great admirer of the acclaimed 2017 documentary 'The Vietnam War' the most comprehensive analysis of this sometimes shameful and always troubling time in American history.

Both the hugely successful, martial-arts comedy drama 'Cobra Kai' series, and this low-budget tribute fail to impress me of the reality as the documentary did.

Still, Keith Stahle's 'John Kreese' and Anotolli Reeves' 'Terry Silver' look and sound more like the original Karate Kid actors than the unknowns in the official series.

Stahle's performance in Vietnam Vengeance is typically powerful, but I just felt uncomfortable watching something using humour at such a sensitive subject matter.

    Big fan of Cobra Kai!

If your sick of waiting for season 3 of Cobra Kai this then is what you need right now. An interesting story that explains where Kreese came from. Hoping for more of these!

Cobra Kai begins at it's Best!

This is canon now! According to Karate kid3 this is the only backstory that worx.

To those that know how great Martin Kove and Terry Silver are as actors, oh yeah that's like everybudy who's scene Karate kid 3. Those guys are great actors and this the salute they deserve. Not only is it a better set up for Cobra Kai it's also a bmovie like Martin Kove starring in Steel Justice or Firehawk or even a Chuck Norris b Vietnam flick like total 80's nam b movie one of those hoorah boast American moral one man Arnies ushered in a new Ronnie Raygun era where something as point in fact and aschard hitting & dramatically real as Oliver Stone's Platoon could be made at all and made popular. Why? Cause Chuck Norris' foot is the key to any door & when you invite him into ur home you are the guest.. Chuck Norris was first choice casting and he didn't want to be the evil sensei. . Both Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith deserved way better and this short celebrates their characters This movie makes heroes of their roles and makes their Vietnam past make sense in Karate kid 3.

It statrs out with the Iconic Kreese in Vietnam black and white picture at the dojo. The picture says Kreese was a Karate Champion in Nam, duh. That means when Terry says goodbye to his Captain at the airport in part3 like duh, Kreese should already be a bad ass Karate champion in Vietnam. Captain Kreese when he meets Terry according to karate kid 3. Do you see anything like that in the official show? Not at all!!! So don't wanna give out to many spoilers so let's just say this is the real backstory of how Terry's life was saved by Kreese in Vietnam so many times that Kreese lost count like they said in karate kid3!!! Your not gonna see that in the show's version and that my friendz is somethin you ain't gonna find anywhere else cause it only exists in this dojo!!! This is how it actual happened as only a 80s martial arts bmovie can show the reality of the bad sensies losing it together in Vietnam.

Fortunatley unknown Marty Kove was made to wait for his audition so long that he went off on the director of Karate kid"We actors fire our agents! We fire our mgrs! So we can get a chance like this! Then BAM he went into dialogue Mercy is for the weak he took it to the director and got the role and Terry Silver actor plays a mean vampire in Vampires but his b martial movies sinking his acting career in favor of writing. Remember when Terry sayz in Karate kid3 what you think you can win with that crane crap again!? Then that's what they do in the future the Karate kid takes Terry Silver out with a crane kick!? LMFAO and people are buying that horse crap! Yeah right. Hello Harold & Kumar writers! That ain't Karate kid3 Kreese didn't get bullied by some fat old American sensei in Nam, how emotional lol he was trained in Korea according to Terry in Karate kid3 he says our dojo in Korea + Thomas Ian Griffith is a real TKD master and Ralph Machio isn't at all a martial artist but hey if u wanna buy poor baby Kreese getting bullied in Nam is they way it happened then go pay for the Harold & Kumar writers treatment which according to karste kid 3 is total bs. Cause that's official cobra kai canon right!? WRONG. HONK.

Fits perfectly within The Karate Kid Part III

I saw Cobra Kai Vietnam Vengeance screened within the Karate Kid Part III the other night at my local Arizona theater and it was incredible!!! It's really meant to be viewed within that movie. The audience was extactic and ardent fans flipped out in appreciation as the choices connected when seeing it all flow together on the big screen.

It's a purists guerrilla filmmaking throw back and they don't make'em like they used to!

Smart set up for the characters of Kreese and Silver and it echoes throughout Part III in really cool ways. It's awesome fun and the people in the theater loved it!

When you see it within Part III you really recognize the true grit and merit of this movie within a movie.

The end credits were omitted and when Kreese rings Terry's doorbell, The Karate Kid III changes over seamlessly. It's definitely the way it was meant to be seen.

The title card that ends the scrolling credits reads all Ennis house scenes were filmed on location and shot on the property LOS ANGELES, NOVEMBER 2019. The movie "Blade Runner" (1982) ends it's opening credits with the exact same font reading LOS ANGELES, NOVEMBER 2019. This is especially significant because Harrison Ford's character Deckard lives in a futuristic apartment modeled after Frank Lloyd Wright's Ennis house, a California state landmark originally constructed in 1923. Although Deckard's interior apartment was filmed at the legendary Pinewood Studios in the village of Iver Heath, England the inspiration of the use of the textile blocks as well as the exterior of Deckard's apartment building is based on the Ennis house. Ridley Scott's true vision for the film was realized in a later release of his director's cut. John G. Alvidsen who directed the "Karate Kid trilogy " chose to use the exterior and interior for the third movie. Terry Silver's fortress in "The Karate Kid Part III" (1989) is the same Mayan Temple inspired mansion. Unlike Blade Runner, the Karate Kid Part III filmed on location at the Ennis house. "Cobra Kai: Vietnam Vengeance" (2020) was of course an ultra low-budget production that couldn't possibly acquire the 6 to 7 figure price tag to be granted permission to film on the property. Keith Stahle who played Kreese was able to make an appeal in costume the morning the gorilla film team arrived at the Ennis house. The skeleton crew waited at the gate and Hollywood magic happened. The foreman of the construction crew graciously opened the gate and film history was made. No other movie will ever be able to say it filmed in November, 2019 at the "Blade Runner" house.
