Don't believe the 10s! This isn't funny!

The host is obviously not a comedian, nor is any of the writers. It's like they showed the host a clip of comedy, and they only absorbed that you have to have a certain cadency to the phrases, but she didn't understand that they have to be actual jokes. Even the paid audience doesn't really laugh at the "jokes".

What? You fire Joel McHale and hire this unfunny nobody?

Not funny. Host is obnoxious. Bad writing. I've been watching the Soup since it's first incarnation as Talk Soup, and it has never been this bad. This new host is even worse and less funny than Rodge Lodge. You can't force or trick people into thinking you're funny by simply being confident. It needs to actually be funny underneath all the posing. What a disgrace.

I was sceptical but Jade is doing a great job as the new host! Can't wait for more episodes.

Are you serious?

I watched for a short time and was waiting for something funny to happen. This was just terrible. One of the best and funniest shows with Joel Mchale and even John Hensen has resorted to this?! Who did the hiring? No way this version of the show lasts. I still feel like they're playing a practical joke on us, I could have made it better than this and I'm not even in entertainment.

The Soup is an American television series that aired weekly on E! from July 1, 2004, until December 18, 2015 (and restarted in 2020) as a revamped version of Talk Soup that had focused on recaps of various popular culture and television moments of the week. The show was hosted by comedian Joel McHale, who provided sarcastic and satirical commentary on the various clips. On November 18, 2015, The Soup was canceled by E! and its last episode aired December 18, 2015. On February 18, 2018, The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale (2018), a spiritual successor to The Soup, premiered on Netflix.
