I really enjoy this series. I'm a bit of an armchair viewer and could definitely do with some more exercise. So now that disclosure is out of the way I can launch into what's irking me about the series.
They have been way way way too soft on this lot. It should be getting steadily tougher as the series progresses. We should be seeing at LEAST one VW per episode. It should be an unusual talking point if there are NO VWs during an episode.
The whole thing of being pushed to their limit is a key component of the series. So for me it's starting to get boring, and although I think the psychology aspect is important, and that we see the staffs empathy, in a way they need to be a little LESS understanding.
The fact that episode 4 ends as it does is a complete failure of the series to deliver what it should be delivering. Really really dissapointing.

I just love this series, the physiological aspect alongside the laugh out loud moments generated by the way the staff talk to celebs is just tv gold. It just makes me feel so many different emotions and I can honestly say that there isn't much that's ever done the same.
Absolutely nothing without Ant Middleton! The new guy does my head in with his shirtless parading around and boxing while the other DSs are chatting or drinking coffee, he seems to have an innate need to look tough and it actually makes him look so painfully insecure. The black guy is better but he's often overshadowed by his shaggy-haired friend. This isn't SAS (or SBS, for that matter) anymore, it's simply a pair of American tough boys taking over a UK program and putting the British public through their paces, all while keeping in line with Channel 4's blatantly left-leaning agenda. The only highlight of this show now is Jason 'Foxy' Fox and Mark 'Billy' Billingham, with their straight-talking and quick wit when the recruits really mess up.
Shouldn't call SAS Who dares wins anymore why not SAS who cares losers.

I have watched many of these shows but the celebrities make me laugh. Vain, stupid people who take time away from their mirrors and make up and try and show people how strong they are. The plastic surgeons in the UK need addressing because some of the dodgy lip jobs are terrible. Nobody can pronounce "th" everything is "f" It shows most celebrities are weak and vain. The SAS have to stoop a long way down to communicate with half of the guests. Egos fall quickly and I think most contestants after watching the show go back and hide in their dressing rooms. People can be really shallow. I suggest to leave the celebrity ones alone.

- TriviaIn March 2021, Channel 4 Television and Minnow Films announced that following a number of discussions with Ant Middleton over his personal conduct they had decided not to work with him again. However, both SAS: Who Dares Wins and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins will return in 2022. Two former U.S. Special Forces operators, Rudy Reyes and Remi Adeleke, join the Directing Staff - with Reyes replacing Middleton as Chief Instructor. Both series will be filmed at a newly created, secret base in the Jordanian desert.
