It would be a lot better show if Joe would be considerate to his wife (Mika) and guests on the show and just shut up and let them talk!!! He is such an inconsiderate A..hole! I agree with most of what he says but I would like to hear others speak also and he is just SO RUDE!!!!! I'm getting pretty sick of it and will probably stop watching! Think I'll just record "First Look" instead! Much nicer people!!

Like the show except for pompous, interrupting, stuttering Joe Scarborough and excessive sports talk. Maybe redo the show as Morning Mika or even better Wake up with Willie.

I have to agree with most of the comments on here that Joe talks TOO MUCH and insists on interrupting everyone and talking over them. It is becoming unwatchable! There are days where you can tell by his smirk that he is doing it on purpose to Mika. It is equally annoying when the guys want to talk sports for the first 5-10 minutes (there are many of us who like sports) and Mika keeps trying to cut them off with "OK...", "OK..." every few seconds. I appreciate Willy's and Jonathan's style and I like most of the guests. Joe, if you ever read this - some friendly advice - CHILL! Let your guests speak. If you have gone on for more than 2 minutes, you have already spoken too much.

After being a fan of Morning Joe for about 10 years I'm totally done with Mika and Joe. This is based on their decision to reconnect with Trump. It's like they sold themselves out. I used to watch because I was getting fair and honest news. Not so much after the election. There are other news outlets that are not kissing the ring. Morning Joe should be renamed to the morning phony news. Your viewers are quickly backing away.
Please take Morning Joe off the air and replace them with fair and honest opinions that viewers deserve.
Side note: This review ONLY reflects MJ. I still watch MSNBC after MJ is over.

No ruder person on tv to guests , deaf ear to important info delivered by Mica. Worse than Chris Matthews And we know what became of that bull in the msnbc shop so regret listening to this frat boy gone to seed and malign narcissism, He introduces a guest or a regular colleague with their name and you expect that person to expand what we have heard but Joe the Blow hard waxes ineloquent for way too long for a riff whilst we are left to examine the dead blank faces of those dying for him to stop.

I was so happy to see Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney on today's show. Unfortunately, Joe was at his big mouth worst. He did his best to run Maloney off the rails. It is too bad because Joe has such good guests, but it is getting to painful to watch what he does to them.

I cannot know what is happening in Joe's life, but it has influenced his ability to focus on air. Cut your losses, take him off the air until his issues are resolved, and get him the help he needs.
We are all stressed by our daily news, but his commentaries have gone too far.

MSNBC has a LOT of opinion shows and I tend to be of the same opinion as theirs with respect to what has happened in the US since 2016. Many MSNBC hosts however, take up far too much time stating their opinion and not asking their guests questions and then letting the guests answer. Joe Scarborough is one of the worst - going on and on in a rambling fashion that ends in a 5 minute interview being 4 minutes of Joe and 1 minute of the guest. If Joe wants us to know his opinion he should do a separate segment, announce the topic and then have his rant. When he moves on in segments to asking a guest for information or opinions he should ask a straight question and let the guest answer. I can't stand FOX news because it tries to shove host's opinions down my throat and I resent MSNBC and Joe doing exactly the same thing. It is not helpful and does not promote healthy debate and respect for each other.

I have a running joke with friends who watch this show more often than myself. I set the over/under on how long it will take Joe Scarborough to mention either 1994 or his time in Congress (usually about 8 minutes). If Joe could get off himself more this show would work much better. Joe doesn't entirely talk over all of his guests like Matthews (who just trashes his show with his butting in), but Joe would still get much more out of his guests if he let them go a little and not constantly stop them - often before they have finished their point - and re-spin what they've said from his own one-trick-pony perspective. The bottom line is JOE STOP BABBLING SO MUCH. I guess you need a fairly strong personality to police the guests but Joe still has to talk a lot less and listen more. I can watch him for one or two days and then need a long break. The supporting cast, including Mika, Willie, Mike B and Pat B are as good as it gets. Without Joe this is a top flight panel news show, maybe the best ever; with Joe there's too much chaff to winnow from the wheat. Docked two points for Joe S's pomposity.

Update: July 4, 2023
As I write this review, Joe was MIA Monday through Thursday of last week ("On assignment"), according to Mika. On assignment where? If he couldn't get out of his bed, she could merely have said that he was "under the weather." Last Friday, Joe was there (Mika MIA) , had trouble containing hmself and was clearly off the rails. Totally unwatchable so I stopped watching. Because I've been boycotting CNN since the Trump Town Hall fiasco, I instead watched recorded episodes of House Hunters and the Law and Order franchises. Far preferable to the train wreck last Friday. Yesterday (July 3) they were both MIA, perhaps stressed out by their hard work last week. And, now, as we approach the end of July, not only have Joe and Mika been MIA for most of the month, but now Willie seems to be joining the no-show gala, making three out of the three moderators off somewhere while Jonathan Lamire was yanked from Way to Early to moderate today's show.
MSNBC seems to love rewarding its anchors for not showing up. Mika earns a $10 million annual salary +bonus, Joe $6 million +$4 million bonus. Rachel Maddow scored a $20 million annual contract + $5 million bonus for working one day a week. Posters have taken to asking if she's retired. She doesn't need to! She can collect a paycheck for staying away from the network.
Whatever the MSNBC executives are getting paid, it's 99% too much for the time and trouble they seem to expend reining in the free-loading slackers and laggards who grace its airwaves only when they have nothing better to do. Give the Morning Joe over to Willie, Katty Kay, Mike Barnicle and the others who keep this sinking ship afloat and without whom there would only be a rudderless ship heading straight for the iceberg.

"Happy Birthday Mika" Enjoy your very special day!!! Celebrate your 57 years of life lady. You bring so much to the table each morning. I love when you say "and moving on", especially when Joe and others want to keep talking about sports. You are the Head Woman in Charge! Keep up the good work; representing women. You are our SHERO!!! You are respected and loved more than you realize. Keep making our day with you upbeat spirit. You deserve all the love of your family and fans and viewers. The show would be missing the spark it needs without you. "Happy Birthday again Lady! Go MIKA! We love you.

Like many others, I feel like I have been misled by both of you, how you look in the mirror is beyond me. So many believed in you, only to discover you are just charlatan's. Hope you get all you deserve- sorry that you have disgraced your father so much-so disappointed in both of you.
Hope the network realizes that you are all show and very little substance. While this was likely always the case, I must admit I was fooled. To me you represented the truth in a way that was both fair and competent.
To admit you are no more than a circus act is so concerning and disappointing, hope you have fun at Mara-maga and that Mika can justify what she has done to her Father's incredible legacy.

I have been watching Morning Joe almost every morning since I retired 8 years ago. Either Joe is becoming more brash, interrupting constantly and barely listening to guests or I'm becoming more intolerant. He often treats Mika with disdain as well as some of the guests unless he really respects them. He actually listens to some of them such as Jon Meachem and a few others with seeming admiration but his favor falls on very few others. Fortunately, I tape the show and watch a little later so I can fast forward through commercials (my original purpose) and now through some of Joe's pontifications (too much time spent on sports, his constant interruptions and his time in Congress. Boring for those of us who have heard it countless times previously!)
I also used to watch Don Lemon on CNN at night but have not yet seen him since him since he's moved to mornings. I have begun to tape his morning show to give me an alternative if needed. I hate to give up on Morning Joe because I enjoy it for the most part. Yesterday Joe was not there so Mika took the lead and it was such a relief! She allows talking among the guests but also knows when to reign it in! She is pure class. I enjoy the regulars such as Willie who is both professional and warm as well as Mike who is very thoughtful. Is anyone saying these things to those in charge at MSNBC?

I'm a long time watcher of Morning Joe. I've about had it with Joe who just does not seem to know when to shut up. As a regular watcher his repetitive and lame verbiage including his incessant reminders about his time in Congress are to me like nails on a black board. Further he constantly restates the obvious which for the show's well informed audience has to be galling and insulting. Dump the silly banter about sports which seems to have become a regular feature. There are plenty of sports channels.

This show has gone way downhill since the hosts' move to Florida. The monologues have become completely unbearable. So many smart guests are unabe to finish one sentence without Joe cutting them off to talk for 10 minutes. It has become painful to watch, not to mention all the self promotion. If you want a focus on news and reporting, watch CNN in the morning.

Morning Joe - MSNBC - does Joe Scarborough ever stop talking? He has great guests, but never permits them to finish a sentence - he interrupts them while they are in the middle of a sentence - only to repeat what they are saying. Additionally, he continues to talk about his days in congress - 20 years ago! I want to be informed by experienced, educated people in their respective fields - I find myself so irritated listening to him, I have to turn the channel - enough of Joe Scarborough -put a host on this program who is more interested in listening to his guests, versus listening to himself. What is Mikas purpose! - all she does is pose and introduce guests. I can do this - can I have her job? Happen to turn to MSNBC this AM - 7-21-17. My lucky day; Joe and Mika were gone for a day! Nicole Wallace was filling in; there was great conversation amongst the guests - who were actually able to finish their thoughts on a subject - show was SO much more informative - put Mika and Joe on at 4:00 AM and keep Nicole or someone like her, who actually respects her guests and LISTENS! Joe and Mika can talk and talk at 4:00 AM. - won't need guests! C. Barrett

The show is so much better when he is not there. His constant preaching really gets annoying. Mica is a lot more professional when Joe is not there. Once he starts his pontificating I turn down the volume and now change the channel. Too much early in the morning.
Needs to let go of when I was in congress, predicted that, talking over his guest and his co-anchor, (today they are especially annoying) and especially of Donald Trump.
Not only this show needs to send Donald Trump into media cold storage along with this extremely offensive and disgusting Don JR.
Unfortunately I have to give this show a rest.

I suppose that one could tune to FOX news and get a more jaded view of the news and current events, but having said that, Joe Scarborough presents the news filtered through a right-wing agenda rivaled only by Atilla the Hun.
When compared to CNN's morning show, or the TODAY show, this entrée has nothing to offer. There are no entertainment issues discussed in depth, there are no guests of any import, other than political candidates pushing their agenda, and if they are from the right, they will be assisted by Scarborough. Joe is assisted to some extend by Mika and Willie, but frankly the show is a bore.

We love you Joe,,,but please, let your guests talk! They are smart people with intelligent commentary. Stop cutting in in the middle of their commentary. I'm sure this is not the first time you've heard this, as you can see it written all over Mika's face when you cut people off. Pretty sure your guests don't appreciate it either. They are just too polite to call you out. We continue to watch your show every single weekday without fail. We especially love Andrew Weismann, as he has a legal background and intelligent commentary. PLEASE let him and all your other guests speak. We beg you. PLEASE!

One of my favorite shows, period. Intelligent, witty, spirited, thought-provoking debates about the issues all of us face in our daily lives. Insider accounts with Joe's essential cross-party views of the "other" man, G.O.P. anti-liberal-bias media (which is factually true, the media DOES have a liberal bias, though not as much as some paint it to be). Politics, issues, this is the REAL no-spin zone.

After the demise of Imus, MSNBC auditioned a number of concepts for their morning news program before finally, and unfortunately settling on MORNIN' JOE.
Scarbourough, once a congressman, just does not posses the personality to drive a three and often four hour morning news show. He is abrasive, argumentative, and often just plain rude to his guests, and quite often displays vast amounts of chauvinistic behavior towards his co-host, Mika Brezenzski. In fact, on occasions it appears that he actually brow-beats the poor lass with his right-wing diatribe.
If all this weren't bad enough, he continues to attempt to engage in feeble humorous quips, all the while openly flirting with his other co-host Willie Geiss. If the viewer STILL hasn't been offended by now, just stay tune...Pat Buchanan will be on as a regular to finish the job for you.
I suppose that there are some improvements that could be made by MSNBC to keep this show on the air...perhaps they could dump Joe and Willie and let Mika do the show solo and naked. Otherwise this is a total loss.

I really like Morning Joe but you are starting to lose a loyal listener. It is 6:12 AM and Joe and all are STILL talking about football, which is not unusual. I tune in elsewhere when this happens and will continue to do so. I can get sports at ESPN! This will alienate many viewers if it has not already. Please reconsider this sports content. Those first 12 to 15 minutes is when I decide if I will stay tuned in or switch the channel. Often lately I find myself at CNN due to this excessive spots talking at MSNBC. There are so many outlets for sports and I never see them covering news or politics! Stay in your lane for the sake of your loyal viewers. LC.
