I just finished watching this after knowing this to be a part of a trilogy and I had liked the trailer of the second film. I had to check this one out and Abhilash Shetty impressed with the realistic approach towards the making as well as the narrative style. It's a simple story of an elderly couple wanting to cook chicken for their visiting Grandson but the rooster they had caught goes missing. The grandfather suspects theft of the rooster and is determined to find it back.

In the process of narrating this simple story, Abhilash Shetty knows his strength and it is the cultural touch that gives it's identity. It is not restricted to the urban and rural culture alone but the beliefs of the villagers. The innocence of these characters is captured well. The short runtime ensures the screenplay doesn't feel dragged and the realistic performance gives an heartfelt connect towards them.

For me, fish is special while chicken is the routine food. Seeing these characters feel the opposite was something fresh.

This movie is a nostalgic trip back to childhood vacations, evoking the heartwarming memories of savouring my grandparents' cherished recipes. It beautifully captures the essence of not just a country chicken curry but any special dish handed down from our loved ones. The filmmaker masterfully portrays these emotions, creating a natural and immersive experience that doesn't feel like watching a movie; it feels like reliving precious moments from the past. This one of the finest and simple story which reminds us one of the childhood. It took in a small village which less cast and movie came out with great acting by Prabhakar kundar (grandfather) as Mahabala shetty sir and Radha Ramachandra mam as Vanaja and direction from Abhilash shetty and the Cinematography team did a great work in making this beautiful movie with simple story,

This is one finest which will get back us into our childhood days and refresh our thoughts. In the midst of heroism and non veg joke movie this one is purely realistic and content based movie which recalls our memories back into times when we visited our grandparents. A simple tale turned out into beautiful family entertained movie in humorous way with regional dialect and view of nature(Sagara),regional culture and beliefs, love,care and bond between grandparents and grandson,chirping sound of birds, regional dance. In total will not only serve with chicken curry but as pure realistic film 'Koli Taal', indeed to be recalled and remembered.

Congratulations to whole team for their commendable efforts and making tremendous job in debut filmmaking.

It took me to my childhood. Festival hit . It made me to remember my grandpa.. Small concent but well narrated. Awesome experience watching it. Especially sound and screenplay worked out well.

This movie will make audience to travel to their village again. We should support these type movies. Expecting this movie on OTT soon.

I had taken my whole family members to watch during theatrical release.

It would be great if this movie is released on television platform so tha whole family people sit and watch together.

Prabhakar kundar who has played the role of grandpa is very impressive.
