The movie plays LOUD the screeching sound that pops your ear drums or gives you a headache. Think NAILS ON A CHALKBOARD! Horrible choice and they used a visual effect as well during those scenes.
I finished the film. That's why they get 2 stars. The story basically completes itself but you have more questions that really should have been answered.
They got my money, should be happy with it.
The movie is very slow. I really wanted to care but the plot description was pretty far off from what was in the movie.
It's a movie. It's totally fairy tale land. I am open minded but, it's almost a conversation that someone recorded and they added some movie scenes. "Oh you don't get it. It's not for you."

Incredible movie, I hope a lot of people see it, it reaches you deeply. Highly recommended. Few films offer such a profound experience, especially in this era where self-knowledge and inner exploration often take a backseat. This film not only touches the heart but also invites you to reflect on the power we have to create and transform our own reality. It's a rare gem that stays with you long after the credits roll. Thank you to everyone involved for bringing such meaningful art into the world. Stories like this are needed now more than ever they remind us who we are and what we're capable of becoming.
I really like this film. I've often wondered about parallel
Universes and Ingress does such a wonderful job explaining their potential existence.
Beyond the story itself, the location is so beautiful. The score really captures the emotion of the film. And the acting is top notch. Rachel Noll has written and acted in a film that you will be thinking about long after you've seen it.
This is not a cookie-cutter story. The tension that leads up to the end is really exquisite. We need more Indy filmakers to take risks like this. Whether by streaming or theatrical release, people really need to experience Ingress.

The film was gorgeously shot and the story was so well done. All the actors did great work throughout. To think this shot entirely in the pacific northwest is incredible. You don't expect this quality outside the hubs but the team behind this created a multi faceted well thought out metaphysical drama with a ton of heart. So glad I saw this in the theatre. Really great effects work and a spare sound track really emphasized the loneliness of the main character. Would definitely watch again to get more of the nuance. Really beautiful work, everyone involved! Such a cool film. Support women film makers and local artists!
Really enjoyed INGRESS. Rachel Noll James wrote a clean script that rolls so smoothly you're able to fully sink into the story, care about the characters, and still have the energy to be excited for the twist at the end. Rachel does a lot of heavy lifting being that she stars and directs as well but she nails all of it. INGRESS was exactly why I like indie movies. It's proof you can make a good film, tell a strong story, and make it look lovely (a PNW fall color theme helps) without needing a $50 million budget. We need more indie films like this and I'm excited to see what Rachel does next. Now go watch it.
