Let me start by saying that if I had to be tracked down and nabbed by some fortune-seeking mercenary, I wouldn’t mind if my pursuer was seven-time WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus as seen in her action movie debut Bounty Hunters.

Originally entitled Bail Enforcers, the 2011 film finds a group of down-on-their-luck bounty hunters, led by Jules Taylor (Stratus), hitting the jackpot one night when they pick up an informant with $100,000 on his head. But their world is quickly turned upside down when a gangland boss (Joe Rafla) offers them a million dollars in exchange for their bounty. When Jules and her partners refuse, the mob unleashes a trio of assassins to bring the bounty hunters down, and to get their man – dead or alive.

Neverlost's first screening on July 20th has already been sold out, but a second showing on the 22nd is still available for fans of psychological terror. The film really sells itself, as a depressed scriptwriter escapes into fantasy in order to distort the reality of a forthcoming divorce. The Christmas season is a time to celebrate the macabre as a slew of independent films continue to come out this week. Now, fans can preview the latest Lionsgate home entertainment endeavour in Psycho Ward. The film takes place in a haunted detention center and Psycho Ward stars Ryan Barrett, Jacqueline Betts, and Nicole Bonin. Released as of today Psycho Ward is not receiving stellar, early reviews, but horror fans are a diverse bunch and some might find this flick worth a watch.
