Umera Ahmed's writing always leaves me in a trance, it's never a light reading, it's thought-provoking and heart-wrenching. It feels real. Alif is beautifully written, it's page-turning, can't-put-the-book-down kinda book with multiple plot twist. This book had me in awe with all its surprises. The characters are powerful and the story is strong. One thing I felt was that some things were rushed but aren't they always in cases like these. Umera Ahmed makes us realize that this is Allah's world and things go according to His pace. Let's hope the drama does justice to the book.

Words can't do justice in reviewing this drama. A pure masterpiece with a perfect ending. Truly mesmerizing, phenomenal performance, heart -touching dialogues. It is actually something beyond than just a serial. It left me speechless. One of the finest drama of Pakistani drama industry. Without any doubt, much better than Ehd-e-Wada & MPTH. The acting of Manzar Sehbai was marvellous. No words to explain the acting of Hamza Ali Abbassi & Sajal Ali. <3 This beautiful journey came to an end with a perfect and flawless ending.
