Engaging and Thrilling! The last episode ends with an excellent twist.

Happy to watch good investigating thriller in tamil...tamil webseries moved on next mile stone...all casting was good and acted soo well near to realistic...

Just saw Iru Dhurvam..very much glued to it..it was so intense and suspenseful..well executed with nice performances by Actor nandhan, Costable character Abdul and the best is the negative character Sabasten..he steals the show with his subtle work..right from the first episode till the last it was like watching a feature film..i never liked any other tamil crime series but this one is definitely stands fresh and different ..technical aspects were so rich especially crisp editing by ashwath and tremendous Background score by Surya Prasadh R..with a hand full of young team Director Kumaran pulls of the show with ease! Got the names from end credit only to appreciate everyone individually ..congrats team..not to be missed!

It is a brilliant follow up to the first season. Irudhurvam season 2 shows exactly how a season 2 for a series should be made. It continues exactly from where the story was left in season 1. Unlike first season, the writers have put in a lot of effort to create the characters and conflicts in a convincing manner. You don't get to see any forced twits and turns, rather the screenplay makes you travel with the lead characters mind. May be predictable but it engages you from the start to end with no deviations from the core plot. It offers ample thrills and heart thumping moments. Connecting the dots from the 1 season is done interestingly and brilliantly. The making is rich and stylish. The production value is much improved comparing to the previous season. Prasanna's character definitely requires a special mention, as it is one of the best ever antagonist character created in Tamil web-series. Please watch season 1 before watching season 2 to have a great experience.

Investigation show with full of Cliche. 1. Ununiformed investigating officer 2. Handicapped serial killer 3. Foolish subordinate of brilliant police officer 4. Investigating officer with hidden personal problems All these we have seen in lots of serial killer movies/tv shows

Way of killing and the execution is different. Anyway not boring, watchable show with some what predictable story line.

Nanda and Abdool nailed it. Amazing TV series. Must watch.

Predictable Crime thriller but far from getting bored .

Pros - Season 2 takes place after six months after the events of season 1 . Antagonist from last season wasn't that convincing , but this time Prasanna as Lankeshwaran did a great , his characterisation and intresting . S2 has better content then S1 and tries to be unique . Cast gave their best .

Cons - Major drawback of S2 was lack of intriguing narration as S1 , some places feels quite stretched . Asusual making wasn't upto the mark . Third act was totally rushed and clumsy in editing .

Overall , Season 2 wasn't good as Season 1 but falls under the category of decent watch . Don't expect much . Waiting for better Season 3 .

Director Arun Prakash's second season is a proper sequel that connects well with the first season, with no deviations from the main plot.

The packaging of the serious is super.

The thrill elements are evident in the initial parts and once the killer is identified in the middle, the cat and mouse game is also good.

Technically, the making is good and the production value is much improved. Cinematography needs a special mention, but music could have been much better.

The writing of each is good and the core plot of the series works really well. The content is quite predictable after a few episodes but still it manages to engage.

10 episode length is a major issue, and few clichés could have been avoided.

Like the previous season, this season also ends with a good twist. Waiting for season 3.

Season 1 directed by Kumaran was a neat thriller that had a very poor production value.

Detailed Review on 2nd Season:

Directed by Arun Prakash this thriller series released on sonyliv and is a decent cat and mouse thriller web series.

Positives:

The kick ass antagonist character Lankeshwaran portrayed by Prasanna is the root cause for this series being a good one

Better production value ,the first season wasn't that rich and felt mediocre cause of its low cost. But this season was well made.

Technically better than season 1

Though killer is revealed it manages to be investigation.

Sai Priyanka Ruth and Lingaa are good and characters were written complex yet well

Negatives:

Nandhaa and Abhirami's perfomance felt artificial and they didnt emote well. Nandhaa's daughter character is irritating and unnecessary

Not very thrilling

Runtime was a lot

Story could have had more twists and turns

Few unconvincing episodes and scenes

Verdict:

This series could have been better but it is engaging and it is worth a watch. Decent. Awaiting Season 3

All characters specially the main character are overacting. Couldn't take it more than 1st episode.

Definitely a feast for Crime thriller fans. Especially for people who liked the first season. Except few slow scenes in between, the whole show is worth watching.

When the previous ended with the stellar cliff hanger, the second continues from where it left. Thirukkural surfaces yet again in the bodies of police officers who were a part of the previous season. Each episode ends with a twist, creating the curiosity to watch the next season.

The best part about this season is, the writers don't take any liberty in using cuss words or unwanted nudity. Unlike other webseries, there are no deviations from the core story, which makes the series stand out from the rest.

My suggestion is they could have trimmed an episode to keep the run time in place.

When it comes to performance, Nandha gives a neat and subtle performance, While Prasanna's characterization and performance stand out from rest. Easily his career best.

Verdict: Barring a few slow scenes, IruDhuruvam season 2 is a must watch for its stylish making and performance.

Didn't have much expectation as this is my first webseries in Tamil. But the suspense thriller was so interesting from the Start and till the end of 9th episode. Each episodes have about 20 mins of run time only. So you can go through the entire series at one go. Everyone did their job well in acting department. Last 2 episodes are little let down as so many questions or logic flaws which is visible. But overall it's acceptable as it's a quality product. Must watch for crime thriller lovers as it in par with movie. Kudos to director, producer and Sony Liv. Waiting for second part.

Season two is as good as season one, Its an interesting and intriguing crime thriller Drama. The screenplay and dialogue is terrific. Slow in between, but it will keep you hooked till the end.

Actor Prasanna proves that a threatening villain need not to be muscular. That venomous smile on his face is enough to make us shiver on to out seats. His characterization is one of the best villain character ever written in Tamil cinema. Nanda gives an adequate and subtle performance.

Cinematography, staging and the tone needs a special mention. It gives the perfect tone for a crime thriller.

Technically brilliant, but the Back ground music could have been way better.

The season two ends really well, Geetha is the next Sekar. Really waiting for Season 3.

Just happened to watch two seasons of this riveting webseries named Irudhuruvam on one go, both seasons were very engaging and worth watching. Nandha has done a brilliant job in both the series. Prasanna's addition in the second season is the icing in the cake. You nailed bro, we need more such roles from you in the upcoming years. Season 2 was much engaging and well made compared to season 1. Ends with a proper lead to season 3. But the last act was quite stretchy unlike season 1, which was crisp and ended sharply in nine episodes. Now waiting for season 3.

My rating is 4.5/5 for both the seasons.

Pshyco character was not write with good depth. He is not natural in acting..

Climax twist is a good one but predictable as well as... All the best for season 2..

Amazing thriller..one of the best in Tamil web series. .✌✌

Having seen the series at one GO , i can be sure this is the only SOUTH INDIAN web content which had taken the platform and also the presentation very seriously. Now the HUNT BEGINS means two things here , one is of the protagonist's hunt for the serial killer who is on a killing spree and the second one is that of the killer hunting his/her PREY (Victims) in the city. The drama , emotions and conflicts of each and every character has been brilliantly written. As the story enters the second half of the season cat and mouse play had been brilliantly structured between the COP and KILLER. The cinematography looks APT , looks like director has extracted exactly what the script demanded. The BGM sure had a major role to play in such an intense crime drama.. Not only these every-other department and every character have done their job with perfection.. The Writer - Director is the one to watch out for in the future and hoping that talented people like him get their DUE on big screen too.

Good Series. Everybody acted well in the series. BGM was not so good in the series. The series was interesting and thrilling at the beginning. The series was so boring and lagging at 2nd half. The series could have been more better. Good Series.

It is a must watch crime thriller for all the crime thriller lovers. Screenplay is too good, very gripping story. It keeps you engaged throughout. I am just waiting for the second season, cant wait for it.

Series shd be an inspiration from David Fincher's seven. Easily one of the best web series.

Watched both seasons at a go.

Season 1 is thrilling and engaging. Acting is not to the point but the investigation is well scripted. Music adds to the suspense and dark tone of the psyco thriller. Overall well done and ended with a note suggesting season 2.

Season 2 was not too engaging unlike season 1. It was good in the initial and few later portions. But the script seems less engaging. Most of the portions can be guessed but still the police couldnt find out. The climax was a complete let down. Again there is hint for next season. Cast have done a decent job but the story and screenplay seemed bit streatchy. Overall its ok to watch it to know the continuation for season 1.
