Finished watching this series, and can't believe how bad it was-an easy 1/10. Such an unconvincing vibe that every emotion tried to portray felt painfully fake, dragging down the already lifeless story. Speaking of the story, it was garbage through and through, going absolutely nowhere the entire series. The pacing was unbearably slow, the characters were flat and unrelatable, and the dialogue was lazy, clichéd, and completely uninspired. Even fast-forwarding couldn't make it tolerable. The fight scenes, which I hoped would at least bring some excitement, were dull and poorly choreographed, thrown in just to pad out the runtime. And the ending? Don't even get me started-it was the dumbest, most unsatisfying conclusion I've ever seen. I kept hoping for at least a hint of redemption, but instead, it left me angrier and more frustrated than ever. The entire production felt cheap, the twists were predictable, and the overall experience was a complete waste of time. I honestly can't recommend this to anyone-don't waste your time on this garbage. It's not just bad; it's insulting to anyone who expects even a little effort in storytelling.

I just watched this goodbye my princess drama (2019) in 2024. This is very late.

Because I mostly watched happy ending romance drama and crime thriller drama series.

The story, plots, acting are excellent.

I still can't move on from this drama.

Both main lead actor and actress are good in acting.

I prefer actor's acting skills. He can show detail acting with eyes , control facial expressions, changing his acting within seconds when plot of drama was needed.

This is really really heartbreaking, heart wrenching, heartfelt.

Although actor character is red flag, he has own reason to do those cruel things.

I feel sorry for both actor and actress characters.

I dislike Goodbye, My Princess for an array of reasons

1. The 9th Princess is an idiot who gets more idiotic as the plot unravels 2. The actress looks and acts like Dilraba who happens to be my least favorite actress 3. It takes a while for the plot to gain momentum 4. Did I mention the Princess was an idiot?

5. It features a love triangle that was both forced and unnecessary

Now, on to the pros.

1. Top notch set design 2. Beautiful scenery

To conclude, if you like dramas where motivations are lacking and the characters act solely for their self interest regardless of who gets destroyed, then by all means, dive right in. Otherwise, there are several C-dramas such as Ever Night and Joy of Life that are worthy of your time.

Except for first episode, every episode is very fast paced. I usually skip most scenes in Chinese drama but I didn't skip any scenes in this one. Main female lead looks like angel and perfectly captures Innocence and childish behavior. Her role matures over the years. Make lead is just awesome. He makes you relate to himself more than anyone. You understand his ambitions insecurities, his need to be loved, his jealousy everything. Second lead is good too. Actually there may not be a single character you hate in this series. Every character from grandmother to the maid of princess is a well developed character. I am in love with this serial.
