This is easily the best Terminator game ever,
at last a good Terminator game..,
and a very good FPS in general.
The atmosphere and action is really superb, and you think that you are watching and actively taking part in the T1 or T2 movies.
The music and sounds are perfect, so 80s.., especially the main menu theme, except for the dialogs which sometimes sound a bit strange and like somebody is just reading them in a room, and the graphics although not top are quite good, with nice colors and sceneries and set you very well in the mood of the after Judgement Day War..
The story is very believable and interesting with plenty of action all the time. The game also has some RPG elements, you collect stuff, improve your weapons, abilities, craft items etc.
Overall a very good action FPS and by far the best Terminator game ever..till now.
Recommended to everyone and STRONGLY recommended to ALL Terminator fans, this is a must have.
I would even say that so far for me the Terminator Universe should comprise only of T1, T2, Terminator Salvation & this game!, Terminator Resistance.

It's not the prettiest game but it's so much fun to play and good story to boot. A lot of nice nods to the movies as well scattered throughout the game. I found myself getting goosebumps often from things that I found, sound and music I heard and much more. The game also plays very similarly to fallout 3/4. Can't recommend it enough. Hats off to the developers.
Bought this game on sale ($19) and greatly enjoyed it. The people at Teyon clearly love the first 2 Terminator films and have learned from their previous game flops. Animations are a bit stiff (for faces and hands) and the texture fidelity isn't the best, but the plasma guns feel so good to shoot.
First off, to the guy who gave a low score because you "Can't shoot T-800's", you're a liar. Stop making stuff up to try and sway people from buying the game because your lazy, dumbass didn't go further than the first ten minutes.
On to the game itself, this feels like a true proper Future War based Terminator property. Teyon are obviously fans of the original movies; what with the callbacks, references, attention to detail and overall presentation. The T-1000 Easter Egg was where I decided I loved this game.
It is just a generic FPS Game by today's standards, but considering the low advertising they had - they clearly put that money into their already limited budget - it can be excused. Basically, it's a Terminator game that feels like a true sequel as opposed to the sequels we've actually gotten.
Generic, monotonous shooting moments which hide a project doused in Fanservice and a true passion. Is it worth it? For a sale price absolutely.

As someone who has been playing games like Half Life, Tomb Raider etc for years now I am not new to the world of first- person shooters. I love the Terminator movies and this game, also the DLC, definitely do them justice.
Firstly, the atmosphere is amazing. Scary. I like the fact that in the first part of the game you have to hide from the Terminators to progress. You're on the edge.
Secondly, the music is super. Adds "creepiness" and tension to the atmosphere of the game play.
As for the quality of the gaming itself- design, weapons etc- there is absolutely nothing to complain about.
I've played this game several times now and am not tired of it.
I HOPE THEY WILL DO ANOTHER!!

- TriviaDuring the hospital chapter you can find a note about a female patient that speaks is showing more and more violent behavior, this is a reference to Sarah Connor who was in a mental institution at the beginning of T2.
- ErroresThe M16A4 is available as a weapon in the game. However, Judgement Day happened in 1997 and the M16A4 did not enter wide-scale production and service until the 2000s.

[after the game's Infiltrator Mode DLC is installed, the generic song playing on the boombox Rivers finds for Ryan changes to this song; also, in the Infiltrator Mode itself the song plays as one of the secrets the terminator finds after turning on the power in the ruins of the Tech Noir club]
