Most of the content and editing were great, but the director's interview segments were excruciating. You can actually see Gates trying to find a kind way to respond to the insipid, off point, childish questions and I kept wondering if that was the purpose because they certainly didn't add much else. Also, did Diet Coke pay for all that advertising? And the final conclusion/question/narration was not in any way useful or interesting or insightful. I hope this guy keeps making documentaries but partners with someone capable of conducting an interview and providing worthwhile commentary and analysis.
I am 26 year old and if someone ask me what's your biggest fear, I would say that " Extraordinary people like Bill gates, warren Buffett and many others are getting old and once they gone, only few people are going to be left to change this politically driven selfish world.
It is so great to get a sneak peek into the greatest minds.
Imagine if Warren Buffett, Steve Jobs, or Jeff Bezos were to open their life up like this. It would help so many and show the beauty inside each of their minds.
I remember watching this mini-docu series on Netflix and truly enjoying it.
It shows Bill's upbringing, his growth as an indvidual, him in his prime at Microsoft, and his departure from Microsoft to create a non-profit (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) and become a full time philanthropist.
It was amazing to see how Bill works, how fast he process information, and even the fact that still takes 2 week breaks away in a cabin since he started to grow Microsoft in order to be isolated and gather many thoughts.
Bill's brain and mindset is tantamount to a computer in the digital age. Yet, this documentary gives a human feel as it goes behind the scenes to reveal Bill Gates new focus in life.
He is literally helping save the world. People should appreciate his work. If they don't, they will in years to come.

This documentary gives a peak into Bill Gates's brain. Chaotic, relentless, cramped with information on various topics at once, always thinking of solving big big problems.
In the face of setbacks he simply tells himself "I've got to work harder". The director questions if getting too deep is Bill Gates's flaw. But I think its this relentless attitude that makes him the most likely to succeed in any of the problems that he is trying to solve (e.g. Sanitation, Disease Eradication, Climate Change).
The documentary gives a clear insight into the challenges in solving some of the world's most significant and long-lasting problems.

Each one of us has to start out with developing his or her own definition
of sucess and when we have these expectations of ourselves we are more likely
to live up to them ultimately its not what you get or even what you give
its what you become
