Kannô no yakata: hitozuma shôten

Yoko and Arthur move into their new house, they notice many strange things happening. Yoko begins to suspects that the house is haunted. Yoko enlists the help of a police detective, who knows the house has a dark, secret past.

It's not an erotic movie, it is just a short Japanese horror. 60 min long. Don't go in with wrong expectations. Enjoy!

Sometimes a movie fails in every way. The story in short is a couple moves into a house that is haunted by something. You have to watch for an hour to find out what that something is. Unfortunately, Many scenes or characters had no background info or were missing things so didn't make sense. Being a pink film there is an approximate 1 hour limit but surely they could have spent a few minutes to explain further.

As a horror movie it fails as there really isn't anything scary or creepy until the last 15 minutes. Even then, it's very brief when anything does happen.

As a pink film it fails because the sex scenes are just outright boring. There are the prerequisite sex scenes and nudity but you won't care.

The acting ranges from mediocre to just awful. When emotion is needed, it's just not there. Is that the actor's or director's fault I don't know or care. The ending is one of those they leave to the viewer to figure out. I couldn't figure it out.

There are plenty of excellent horror films. Plenty of excellent pink films. This is one of the failures.
