Pakka raw movie and dialogues are too good with comic sense. First half is treat to watch and second half felt like too fast and felt like director trying to finish movie early. With elevation given to hero in first half was not carried to second half.

Every penny spent in this movie is worth while watching. Hope next movie will be even more good.

Brilliant debut by duniya vijay as a director, i didnt have any expectation over the film initially, gradually the songs started to impress and the trailer was cut sleekly too, but the initial response by audience and world of mouth publicity as well as positive reviews by media created the hype for me i was happy and mightily impressed by the film, though seems many scenes and plots be inspired by other films, but put together very well duniya vijay being the protagonist has much lesser screen space which in turn makes him stand out like a salaga (mighty elephant) worth a watch.

Most of people giving negative rating for this movie ,, YES it's a negative and fully bad words used "A" CERTIFICATED movie.. but they also gives for why that guy turn like that .... But the message given by duniya Vijay sir is fully mass and SUKKA and ALSO Original as A REALITY OF SOCIETY and our system... Dali Dananjaya performed a brilliant role.. Hats off to a whole team...

I can see many negative reviews about this movie stating its vulgar, guys that's y its been given A certificate, its your mistake if you take your family to this movie, Now coming to the review this movie is a festival for mass movie lovers, I'm pretty sure if the same movie was made in telugu or Tamil these people would say its the best movie of the decade, brilliant Debut as a director by Vijay, you can watch it twice surely won the race against Kotigobba 3 which is a nonsense movie, Just watch it and then write the review.

Movie don't have story in the first half bcz of suri anna and salaga title track it was entertaining and in the second half movie gives the justification for the first half but it's a same old kind of revenge story ,content was outdated And charan raj's background score elevates every normal scene..... without charan raj's music and dhanajaya's screen presence movie will be big zero.

Whatever the negative they can say but the screen play is too good and yes it's vulger dialogue but it's A rated movie what do you expect ha and even the duniya Suri not having courageous to show screen like this, it's 100% fact that Bangalore inside world is like this and movie simply realistic this movie has separate fan base 😊

Duniya Vijay's first movie as director, he has exceeded expectation. Fantastic casting, great dialogue, acting from everyone, music is great. It's perfect fan movie Dhananjay is great, cockroach is superb and Vijay is at his best there are plenty of waw movements overall perfect opening movie after theaters are open.

The 1st half of the movie is ok. But 2nd one is little boring, some bad words even double meaning dialogues are ok to watch with friends not with family.

SALAGA is on fire. Nice story with extraordinary dialogue, first and best direction by duniya vijay sir. The comedy by ganja and savithri were fabulous in timing and the song are in next level.

But only thing movies has bad words in dialogue but it's common too so can't watch this film with family.

Salaga is worst movie. Just contains vulgar dialogues and rowdyism .Story portray in name of family u can do murder and illegal business. I gave 2 star for Dhananjay's Khadak acting and cockroach Sudhi's comedy. Very talented actress Sanjana don't have much screen space. And hero and director Vijay thinks telling vulgar dialogue and showoff with Machchu-long is acting.. He not even fit for supporting role. Worst acting. Very bad. I don't recommend this movie.

Great job done by Salaga team . I usually don't watch rowdism movies by force of some friends I watched it....it was entertaining and scarey..... Best part of the film is casting every character fits to there role and those batsmans were really scarey.

Salaga is a stylized/raw action thriller which is made into a gangster film, with gritty violence, raw action, writing, music and direction are the main aspects of the film.

Duniya Vijay gives a knockout performance in acting as well as in writing and direction, along with Daali Dhananjay in a 'Khadak' cop. The roles of Duniya Vijay and Daali Dhananjay reminds me of 2017 Korean film The Outlaws, but was made with a difference. Sanjana Anand is also given much scope for acting and does well in the film. Achyuth Kumar, 'Kavaludaari' fame Sampath Maitreya, Yashwanth Shetty, Chennakeshava and Neenasam Ashwath did their roles well.

The film's main highlight are the action sequences by Jolly Bastin and Vinod are stylish, raw and gory, which can be enjoyed by action and gangster film lovers. Cinematography by Shiva Sena and soundtrack by Charan Raj and Naveen Sajju are entertaining for the youth. Dialogues by Maasthi are hard-hitting and entertaining. Credits should go to Duniya Vijay for making and direction as he gave a wonderful film with a splendid team. His work in Salaga is splendid without adding any OTT buildup and song-dance sequences.

Therefore, Salaga is a gift for action lovers and Duniya Vijay and Daali Dhananjay's fans. If JioCinema/Sun NXT would have released a full version instead of a trimmed version, then it would have been more enjoyable. Watch it on Jio Cinema/Sun NXT for a massive entertainer.

Watch it only for Dhananjay , Can not watch with Family . Disgusting Daiogues . Routine Story and same Goondagiri Story . Only positive Point about movie is its Music .

Vijay Kumar alias Salaga is a rowdy serving in prison yet orchestrating murders outside through his boys. He is targeting three men specifically, who also belong to the Bengaluru underworld. Once Salaga gets out from prison, he starts his killing spree which prompts the police to assign ACP Samrat to take over the case. Who is Salaga? Why is he after those three men? Will ACP Samrat stop him before he kills them all forms rest of the story.

Story, screenplay and direction is by Vijaya Kumar himself. He has come up with an age old story and lackluster narrative which fails to bring any sort of freshness. Right from the first frame, it feels like every other gangster film. The censored violence and abuses filled dialogues only result in haphazardly chopped scenes. The first half is all about the rowdies either wanting revenge or getting killed. The presentation is raw and that's about it.

The second half includes the flashback to reveal why Vijay Kumar turned into Salaga. For the narrative sake, they introduce the lead character to be a Uttara Karnataka guy but in the 2 hour runtime, he speaks exactly one dialogue in Uttara Kannada dialect. Vijaya Kumar is too subdued in his performance and lacks the thrill. Even the dialogues don't stand out and only in the last 15mins, the character gets some variation but it happens too late.

With an half baked love story, the heroine track falls flat as well. Much of the second half relies on Dhananjay's ACP Samrat. But there is only so much he can do to lift a generic script like this one without any whistleworthy dialogues required for a mass commercial film. The sincerity of Vijaya Kumar as director is evident but his skills are kinda rough and it shows the moment second half drops it's pace. Overall, Salaga is an ordinary revenge tale, offering nothing new.
