American Song Contest

Everything is very loud, chaotic and rushed. The first episode had a couple of good songs, the same could not be said about the second episode. Snoop is a bit boring and feels out of place. But the worst thing by far is Kelly Clarkson. She is beyond annoying, unfunny and LOUD! I don´t know if I will continue to watch this but if I do I will mute Kelly every time she appears on screen!

For those who are not familiar with the Eurovision Song Contest, it is a lot more fun. I suggest people check that out.

If this is the best talent for each state we're doomed. It looks more like they're trying to film music videos than perform for a contest. I noticed one girl lip syncing, well let's just say her voice was playing and her lips weren't moving.

There is some talent here and there.. but to me it's just a silly tryhard copy of eurovision. America can't expect that stealing europe's 65 year old contest, wich is based on every country's cultures, to go very well.

Not that America has no culture. It's just that it doesn't fit like it does with Europe. It was still a very good try.

Wow. This is a cheap and cringey knock-off of Eurovision Song Contest.

I genuinely would've been impressed with this show if they decided to follow the rules like in ESC- no auto-tune, no pre recorded harmonies.

This is terrible.

If NBC expects me to keep watching this, I'm gonna need a whole lot less of this Kelly and Snoop show business. Kelly is just LOUD, and I'm not sure Snoop even knows where he is.

Agree, this is WAY over produced. Some wonderful talent, and some talent that needs to go back home and rehearse some more.
