I enjoyed that at a time when farmer films are dime a dozen, Kadaisi Vivasaayi manages to stand out effortlessly. That's because it seems less interested in making a profit out of their misery, and more interested in communicating genuine affection for their occupation. It doesn't depend on dialogues to do this job. In fact, it doesn't even need a conventional hero or a menacing villain. And yet, this film communicates tragedy and affects us and implores, without ever obviously doing that, that we take a long, hard look at how we live. In a profound scene, you see Mayaandi, who has no problem with his body being soaked in dirt, attempting furiously to remove a hint of an ink stain from his fingers. That single shot... that's worth pages of dialogue. That's the stamp of this filmmaker.

A satire emotional story and realistic performance.

The title itself a best applaud for all To describe in a single word - 💎 gem Its a movie to know our deep roots from which all of our ancestors followed and still only some following.

Not only i can see the farmer's struggle here also how this movie has struggled to release bcz of no promotion..hats off to everyone who made to screen in theatre..a standing ovation to all.

Most of the scenes were heart warming and heart touching and it makes u cry at sometimes. Still these kind of more movies shld come and some big heroes shld promote the way like VS and Yogi. It is a good movie so only the audience also less in theatre.. If u need entertainment I'm asking u .. just only for entertainment don't come for this movie .to know our ancestor things and to know the hindrances struggle and difficulty of a farmer u can watch it peacefully Vijay sethupathi -came and went.he has no big role yet he is supporting indirectly in making these kind of movies as well as helping us to know the importance of this movie.

Also a salute to Yogibabu..he also gave a importance to this movie.

Hero of story is the farmer and the story itself.

Not much delicious scenes yet the way they took us to watch this movie is awesome..

This is a film that takes tamil cinema to its peak .

Finally got to see the award winning movie "Kadaisi Vivasayi ", Huge respect to the director Manikandan for showcasing this lively experience of a farmer's life and the strong emotional connect he could weave between the viewers and the storyline. Rather the present, this movie is for the future Gen for them to understand what it takes to get rice from farm to kitchen . It's a hard hitting fact that these cannot be produced in a factory but only from a farm bed . Everyone of US have criminally contributed for the reduction of farm land by converting them to factory to housing units to multiplexes , to concrete jungles , sure life would have been much better and less stressful than it is now if we had saved those farmers and their land and as well donned a role of a farmer in some way or other. Wish some decisions taken in life in past could have been undone . In total agreement to this statement "The soul of India lives in its villages". The performances of the characters are so very realistic and sure most of them are probably the villagers themselves than actors . I couldn't actually see it as a scripted one and the flow just happens . Thanks to the late Nallandi for his impactful presence in the movie . Sure both Yogibabu , Vijay Sethupathi probably accepted those meagre but meaningful role just to contribute their share to this beautiful movie , that way probably many of them . Cinematography at its best , frames of nature all through . A peaceful watch with no noisy BGM and useless songs . Sure the entire movie crew must have been proud for their presence . Finally a realistic movie based on farmers . Recent times in Kollywood many movies were released in name of Supporting farmers , but this movie is a slipper shot to those cringe movies . Kadaisi Vivasayi was a pure gem . Once again Manikandan gave us wonderful movie . Story was simple , but execution was marvelous . Cinematography was also handled by Manikandan , mind blowing visuals . Other than farming , they well focused on village environment too . Characterisation for Mayandi was very well designed . Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu done their part very well . SaNa music was good . Overall a must watch movie . If you like realistic Drama then give a try . Watch it on big screen .
