Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a pretty enjoyable Star Wars game that's fateful of the concept of the Sith and what exactly they would want. Maybe the gameplay is not much great, but the story for this is somehow engaging. This is a type of Star Wars plot that gets interesting with the "villain to hero" element for Starkiller. Even if the gameplay is not that good, I do like the bosses where they would end each level with exciting action gameplay. And the graphics hold up more than a decade later. I know it's an easy bet to say that Star Wars fans will have a good time playing this game. But also for those that have ever thought of playing as a character who is in the Sith. Well, for the first half to say the least. The one thing that's better than the game itself are the DLCs I have played after the campaign. A Fragile Hope, Wrath of the Empire, and Jedi Temple. Both Fragile Hope and Wrath of the Empire stay fateful to the original trilogy very well and has given an untold story behind the movies. But Jedi Temple is the best of them all since it feels we would get to train as a Jedi after we finish the campaign. As for the game itself, it honestly should really work on the gameplay. But for what it is, it's a good game for me to strike back.

Well what can I say? This game is pretty much what a star wars fan should play.

So Darth Vader invades a planet of wookies, he battles a jedi finds out that the Jedi had a son. Years to come he trains the son to become his apprentice and calls him by the name Starkiller.

The actual game play is good, some levels were frustrating but I still got there.

The GGI was also good and so was the Mocap from the actors that voiced and motion scoped them.

The only thing I didn't like was the ending but overall it was a good game.

This game is quite enjoyable because of its gameplay, campaign and how the story links so well to the rest of the saga, especially the last three episodes. There are many highlights to this game, and a few flaws...but mostly it's one that Star Wars fans should buy because of its freedom in the way you create your character and the way they introduce already-created planets which have not received much attention from those who've only watched the movies.

Gameplay - The gameplay is top-notch, the way you are able to move around like a Jedi, jump and fight like a Jedi, and use a variety of memorable Force powers like a Sith. You really do get the sense that you're this extremely gifted and powerful apprentice who goes around killing Jedi (it's nice to play an antagonist for once), and taking orders from this famous villain who is shown to be cruel and evil. The Force powers are nicely thought-of, as well as the ability to unlock new moves and upgrade yourself using the Levling system. There are some originals, like Force Push, Force Lightning and Saber-throw, but there are also a few new ones, like Force Repulse and Lightning Shield which both also have their roles to play.

Story - The plot is quite simple, and very much like Assassin's Creed. It somehow expalains many things that have happened in the later films, like the creation of the Rebel Alliance in the first place and how its symbolic crest came about. Very subtle things but they just project such realism into The Force Unleashed.

Star Wars the Force Unleashed is absolutely incredible! This is without doubt one of the best video games ever made! I loved the story; the story was about the cruelty of betrayal, the corruption of power, the need to repent and become a hero in order for there to be peace and embrace love. The gameplay combat was super super fun running around with your lightsaber and using all your force powers to make you the all-powerful, and unstoppable warrior was so very fun! The music soundtrack was the perfect Star Wars music that sounded awesome. The attention to detail with all the futuristic technology on all the different planets you went to was beautiful. Without any doubt Star Wars the Force Unleashed is one of the best videogames ever made that I would strongly recommend, and would really love to see more video games like in general. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...I wish for a remastered of both the force unleashed games for next gen consoles. That would sell a lot and people would love it, giving everyone what they want.
