I was excited about The World According to Jeff Goldblum from the first time I heard about it at D23 Expo and when it came to it actually being released, it provided a unique and hilarious viewpoint from Jeff Goldblum on different topics such as Ice Cream and Sneakers. From a TV series from National Geographic, I am highly impressed and not only does this show provide humor and that documentary-vibe type of show, The World According To Jeff Goldblum is pure perfection and is worth watching every single episode.

I have always loved Jeff Goldblum's humor. He is very eccentric and definitely zany. He introduces events behind trivial topics such as shoes and ice cream that are truly fascinating. Each topic that he discusses he tends to also participate in physically. It makes more sense when you watch the show. Another thing that he does quite frequently is he relates experiences to his childhood.
The show is great, but is far too zany and eccentric. Goldblum is very comedic, but it sometimes can be far too much to handle. I know that he is the main aspect of the show, but you will understand what I mean as a viewer.
The show is very good because it is very relaxed and it is fun. If you like Jeff Goldbum, then you are in for a treat!

Jeff has a personality that you either love or hate. I'm on the side of appreciating his quirks and qualities. He's passionate, enthusiastic, funny and charming and having him explore some of the cultural artifacts in our modern world is both interesting and entertaining. Each episode explores a relevant cultural topic and Jeff educates us with his hilariously quirky but surprisingly down to earth point-of-view.

I've always loved Jeff Goldblum's quirky sense of humor and he does a great job on this show. It might sound like just another show about random stuff but the way he hosts it and talks to people is really well done. I found myself actually interested in sneakers (which I'm not, normally) and I especially enjoyed the tattoo episode.Jeff is just so charming and he makes anything seem interesting. He also engaged with people; he was playing basketball in the sneaker episode, rowing an outrigger in Hawaii and actually doing part of a tattoo in the tattoo episode. His enthusiasm is contagious, and makes it all more interesting. I'm looking forward to future episodes.

I laugh out loud several times watching this. It has to be scripted, right? But, Goldblum seems to improvise through most of it. Thank you, sir for your creativity.

Jeff is as charming as ever, and the topics he goes over in every episode are so unique. Sneakers, ice cream, basic stuff, but got a whole universe behind them. Everything intertwined with Goldblum's amazing sense of humour and charisma.

Well to be fair Jeff Goldblum turns out to be a real entertaining host but at times, beneath all that you can see the content is thin.
I love shows of this genre. Shows that deliver knowledge and different perspectives about things. But unlike others like Adam Ruins Everything, focus is more on Jeff's shenanigans rather the actual content of the topic an episode is about.
I just wish from next season onwards they dive deeper into history lessons and facts....
A solid 7 it is!

Another of the Disney+ lineup, these whimsical documentaries are as eccentric as Jeff Goldblum. They take us to whatever topics capture his curiousity. I give this series a 7 (good) out of 10. {Documentary Curios}

It is a fun show to watch, very entertaining, but the title IMHO is incorrect. The show should be called 'The United States According the Jeff Goldblum'. The episodes, are all centered around what the topic implicates in the US and not worldwide. E.g. when I think of coffee, the first thing that comes to mind, is Italian, French or Austrian coffee culture, but not coffee made by cowboys. Don't get me wrong, as stated above I found all episodes amusing but the title just does not seem right.

This show isn't bad, it's just very average.
As a Jeff Goldblum fan I expected a clever, deep and quirky look at topics, instead I got a quirky look into topics with a bit of added quirkiness.
This is not a deep dive, focussing primarily on closeups of Jeff Goldblum touching his and other people's faces. The producers don't want anything to distract from his strangeness and as a result, even that strangeness comes across as forced and contrived.
It's not that the show is unwatchable, it's just so superficial it is hard to really recommend it. Watch one episode and you've watched them all.

If you are mainly drawn toward jokes about flatulence this is not for you. If you enjoy intelligent and subtle humor this is for you

You must appreciate Jeff Goldblum's quirky behavior to boldly venture into his weird and wild and wonderful world. Anyone who is mildly to moderately interested in him will have a great time with this delightful and informative series!

Mr. Goldblum has always struck a positive vibe with me and it's a blast watching him get a brain worm and feeling the need to feed it. He's a unique fellow for sure and has created the perfect show to revolve around himself. I recommend all his episodes for education purposes and especially fond of the computer game one. He opens eyes, minds, and brains of anyone willing to partake the adventure with him in his quest for information and often times a new enlightenment.

I enjoyed watching this show, it's easy to watch, a little educational, but also somewhat annoying. Now i say somewhat annoying cos the 2 topics that are/were of a particular interest to me didn't event mention a couple of HUGE areas within their field.
For example in the Coffee episode he didn't even once mentioned flavored coffee. I've been roasting coffee myself for years and flavored coffee has a special place in my heart. I really love to mix freshly roasted beans with different flavored beans to find that one special blend that has just the right taste... but not once have i managed to find out exactly what the coffee companies use to flavor their coffee so i can try to make my own. I know that the flavor is sprayed on the beans while they are in the oven being roasted, but what is it and how is it made? Not being able to find out anything about it makes me very curious why, and i would have loved if he had said something about it. After all flavored coffee is a pretty big part of the coffee business so it was a bit surprising and quite disappointing that he choose to not even mention the subject at all.
The second thing was even more surprising and disappointing.
He did an episode about denim without once mentioning selvedge! What?! How does that even happen??
That's literrally like talking about the history of cars without mentioning the T-Ford... nuts...
Anyways.
I't still a good show though, and i do recommend it :)

Such a good natured program. Jeff Goldblum is an engaging host as he finds delight in everyday things and the people involved with them.

National Geographic presents and Jeff Goldblum hosts, random stuff you haven't thought that much about probably but now explained over 22 minutes by one of the quirkiest men in Hollywood. Goldblum is surreal and a treat, he always seems engaged and interested wherever he is, whoever he's talking to, even in those situations when you can tell he's uncomfortable or unsure of what's going on; which is surprisingly frequent. It strongly seems like the writers planned out all these topics ahead of time, it wasn't like a list of things Goldblum was personally interested in (which I would have preferred), but rather general things people are interested and then Goldblum goes and sees what its all about. If this had of been any other producer than Nat Geo it could have turned out a much worse show, if it was any other host I could say the same. But as is, it was charming and worked fairly well.

Heard great stories about this guy. Saying he just a nice enthusiastic guy. The show is just entertaining to watch. He could read the back of a cereal box and I would be entertained.

I guess it's because I love documentaries/docu series' so when I watch something that's about a particular topic, I expect to learn something new. I didn't learn anything new in this series because he literally takes an EXTREMELY broad topic on each episode and covers the very basics of it - things that everyone already knows about that topic. Also the host seems to have some sort of speech impediment. I'm not complaining he has a disability but maybe the wrong guy for the job? It was filmed well other than that.

This show (pardon the phraseology here) is pure Gold-blum! Jeff is absolutely perfect as the host, nobody could possibly do it better. He has the best personality and is generally a very curious guy, so this is the best possible show for him, in my opinion. He also makes it so much fun to learn about things, and it's just a joy to be there with him for the journey!
