This show is probably the coolest, funniest show for kids or teens ever. I would love to work at a place like Teen Buzz! The characters get to cover interesting stuff and people for the magazine, they still go to school, and of course, crushes develop... I understand not loving a show and having your own opinion, but the negative stuff that some people have said, IMO, is totally because the actors look young. Like, reeeally young in the first season! Everyone is so use to seeing 25 year olds playing 15 year olds that it's weird to see people the right age. So I bet some people say, oh this is a little kiddie show, it's dumb! Instead they should give it a chance because it is smart and does stuff other shows don't. As for wasting forum space talking about laugh tracks, wow. I sure do not get that! Laugh tracks have only been on most sitcoms since the fifties! Anyway, check out this show. I think you will love it and will get hooked on the different relationships for sure!!
Something to watch for the time it was made. I was pretty small when this came out and i loved it then. Unfortunately i couldn't watch it full but i loved rebecca and noahs chemistry... They were so cute together
Definitely todays kids and teen shows are more relevant to todays times, but for 90s and 2000s babies, the latest buzz was it...
Its more like a nostalgic recall for me then any intellectual or critical rumination.
Thanks to latest buzz for making this little girls days better
Secondly "homework date" memory is etched in my brain as i dreamed of calling a boy in the same...
well i couldnt to this date...

This show is very welcome in our home! I have watched this with my kids on several occasions and we all enjoy it immensely! I personally believe that there is a lot of great Canadian work, and this is certainly among what I enjoy. For those fellow Canadians that grew up enjoying Mr. Dressup, the homage to him through "Ernie Coombs High School" was great to see. We found the characters were an interesting cross section of individuals. the interplay between these characters from all walks of life will give rise to many interesting conflicts, I am sure. We are particularly interested in seeing the development of the characters of the teacher and the editor. They serve as interesting and contrasting support for the kids. This is a great show for kids, clearly written from their perspective. Mr. Piaskoski has done a wonderful job, and is a great example of what Canadian work can achieve.
Normally I don't hate kid's shows, but this one is just terrible. The acting is wooden, the characters are all unlikeable, and the plot is not as interesting as the advertisements made it out to be. It may be just a kid's show, but not even kid's will enjoy it. My niece finds it extremely boring and unfunny.
The show has two huge flaws that make it practically unwatchable. The first, is the god-awful acting. I know they're inexperience kids and all, but come on, they can do way better. Their delivery is off, and the way they act, especially during the comedic scenes, is incredibly awkward. It seems they are trying to hard to make the dialogue funny, which is hard to do because of the horrible script.
The second flaw is the laugh track. We've all seen it in Disney shows before; a character does or says something funny, and you hear an audience laugh. The laugh track in this show, is completely overused and annoying. After practically every line of dialogue, you hear the audience laugh. I am beginning to doubt there is even a real audience, and that the laughing is prerecorded.
This show is a definite waste of time, and painfully over advertised. It's a show that simply isn't worth your time. 1/10 stars.

I've been able to see most of the first season of "The Latest Buzz", and let me tell you, the show gets funnier and funnier. Most of the stars were in their first acting gigs, but they get good really fast, and let's face it - it's way better to have 14-15 year olds playing 14-15 year olds, than having 28 year-olds playing 16 (hello, OC?).
These kids are real kids, playing the right age, and they're friggin hilarious! Especially Michael and Wilder!
And yes, "The Latest Buzz" has a laugh track. So do a lot of great comedies, like "Friends" and "How I Met Your Mother". Get over it. I did after less than one episode. I can honestly say that I've laughed out loud at every episode I've seen, and I've enjoyed every one. Each of the characters is fun and interesting, and this show is at least as good as "Life with Derek" and "Hannah Montana".
The people in India have already seen 20 or so episodes, and "Latest Buzz" is the #2 kids show on Disney Channel India, second only to "Hannah Montana". "Buzz" also had the best premiere ratings for any show in Family Channel's history in Canada - so people are watching and loving it... why aren't you? :D
