If you're a fan of morgue horror, then this short film is for you. Unfortunately, I'm not-and I felt very uncomfortable throughout the film. That said, I have to admit it's built around a clever concept: an awkward mortician performing his duties-and more-on the body of a deceased woman, leading to an unexpected outcome.
I'm not sure what disturbed me more: the creepy mortician or the actual horror elements. That said, the acting was strong across the board. In particular, the actor portraying the mortician did an excellent job. He was extremely convincing as the kind of weirdo you'd never want to meet-or even know about!

A horror around a joke. A coroner in night, prepairing a new female body. His dark humor and the terrible consequence of it. The atmosphere, like for each good horror, is the basic pillar. But the film has the virtue to propose an if not so unrealistic. And it does it in well way. The delicate border between death and life and the respect for this distance is the good tool for a short horror more than interesting.
This looks really cool . Wish I could actually watch more than 3 min of it . Found it on Facebook but couldn't find the whole thing anywhere. Where is the rest of it? Or was that four min all there is ?
A creepy coroner (James Warfield) takes advantage of a body in his care, that of a pretty young woman (Aurora Persichetti) who had drowned in a lake: the man applies makeup to the girl and fondles her hair before planting a smacker on her lips. The man's unsolicited attention has horrific consequences when it turns out that the dead woman wants another kiss.
At just six minutes long, Kissed doesn't have much time for plot development, the film merely an excuse to deliver a ghoulish EC comics-style ending - however, it does this very effectively, the final minute or so guaranteed to send shivers up the spine. Director Elwood Quincy Walker does a great job at handling the suspenseful build-up and gruesome payoff - he's definitely a talent to keep an eye on.
6.5/10, rounded up to 7 for IMDb.
