Used to be essential viewing on a Saturday lunchtime before heading off to watch my team. It used to cover the forthcoming games as well as reports from the previous week's games.

Now...it focuses on issues that only a small minority are interested in. Feels more like a feature section from The Guardian newspaper.

No wonder Football Focus is loosing viewers hand over fist it's Incredible that the show is an hour long and they manage to cram in literally nothing of any interest. It used to be boring, now it's fluff and boring. Football Focus has turned into a self promoting chat show for the presenter. Either get back to covering the days matches and concentrate on football or take it of air.

I expect the BBC will no doubt come up with the excuse that falling viewing figures is due to people watching Netflix and other platforms but if they concentrated on what the program is supposedly all about and stopped broadcasting the present rubbish and got a new presenter viewing figures would improve.

Typical BBC, program now focusing more on box ticking then producing a good quality program, shame as was a must watch Saturday afternoon viewing. Hopefully they will fix it before it disappears all together.

Football focus? This drivel is more 'diverse' 'thought provoking' touchy feely Guardian readers tripe. Now what would be good would be a programme concentrating on what's going on in the game, looking at upcoming games and tactics with some scuttlebut about what's happening re possible team changes, performances and insights into the teams. I'm not interested in what music the players like, how they cope with the hideous racism that is apparently so rife (on twitter?) that these humungously well paid and hero worshipped 'stars' so bravely combat by taking the knee and caring for their mental health.

I no longer waste my time with this dross. Would rate it zero stars if I could.

I can watch it for an hour and there's literally nothing interesting in it. I really don't care what Ellen White's favourite opera is. That's all FF is these days. About 5 or 6 pointless fluff pieces, somehow stretched out to an hour. It's all filler, the entire hour.

When i think back to how wonderful Saint & Greavsie was. They actually had goals from midweek matches and previews of the weekends games. They had actual insight and humour, not just random ex pros with no charm or charisma smiling and giggling over nothing. Even compare it to the current BBC NFL Show, which is a million times better than FF.

Footy Focus has zero content of interest for a football fan and the choice of Alex Scott to take over from Dan Walker is typical of the BBC's political beauty competition. Look how the global Dr Who figures have declined since Jodie Whittaker took over!!!! What a load of rubbish FF is now. The BBC has ruined a once great show. Their overall viewing figures are in decline and that is no surprise considering the mess they're in. Too many lazy fat cats chowing down on big salaries .... overpaid, overstaffed and underworked!!! The quicker and the sooner the BBC is disbanded the better. Stop wasting my license fee!!!!!

Used to be good but now they just make sure they tick every box for pc brigade. Always have to have a female and a bame person too. Pushing womens football too when no one watches or cares about it. No mention of lower league games at all.

Stop being Pc. I cannot for the life of me understand why they got women presenting the show and guest pundits. They got zero intellect on the men's game they can't talk football when they can't even beat kids. If ITV done a football show with the same content as BBC but presented by a man and ex footballers as guest who do you think would win the the rating wars. ITV.

Keane and souness would be the best combo no nonsense and say it's it is. They played it at the highest level and when they speak you acknowledge their knowledge. Alex Scott and other female presenters are being forced on the public and people will turn it off as they are like rabbit caught in the headlights.

Sum it up.... Go back ex professionals (men) who have knowledge and let the women have their own show instead of forcing them on men's football as they wouldn't get the coverage.

The ever giggling and simpering Alex Scott is my main problem, couldn't they have acquired Eni Aluko? The content of the programme has also deteriorated, I don't want to know a footballer's favourite colour or what tattoos he or she has. This used to be a programme I looked forward to, now I give it a wide berth.

Alex is well suited to the midless game-show she hosts and of course I don't watch that. It is public knowledge that Alex had a difficult childhood, (we have that in common) and as someone who has studied psychology I know that one of the tactics to cover one's psychic pain, is to laugh constantly.

Stick to the game shows Alex, that's your forte.

I wouldn't necessarily blame Alex Scott for this show's demise, but I would blame the producers.

This was once a staple show that got you excited about the weekend's games. However talk about 'football' has been replaced with items about 'mental health' and what footballers think of things. The core audience aren't interested in this, and therefore the viewing figures have gone right down.

The pundits are generally rather dull and have been media trained to death therefore ommit any form of personality or passion they may have from the camera.

The show will likely be eventually binned as they have lost their audience.

Well due to recently now having Saturdays free from working I chose to tune in to Football Focus earlier today as I always used to in the past. In the name of sweet Jesus what on earth has happened? Please tell me that todays attempt was either some sort of an experiment or a joke. Do you HONESTLY expect a Football Fan to tune into that ill-informed nonsense. How are the mighty fallen.

I genuinely despair for the BBC, I honestly do. We had "Top Gear" replaced with cringe-inducing drivel and "A Question Of Sport" has now scraped it's way through the bottom of the barrel and is currently burrowing its way down towards the earths core closely followed by Countryfile. Why can't you just LEAVE THINGS ALONE when you have a hit show on your hands. I am beginning to wonder if it's worth paying the licence fee just to watch "Match of the Day" which has managed to retain most of it's previous entertainment value.

Since Alex Scott became Football Focus presenter in my opinion its all Arsenal driven and her side kick who else but Martin Keown.

It has become a cringe worthy show which is so biased between Arsenal, Liverpool,Man Utd and Man City that no other teams exits. Today of course they picked out Beth Mead who does she play for?
