Shed

All of the scenes inside the shed were filmed in New Orleans during the week before Hurricane Katrina hit. The director/DP evacuated to his family's farm in Aubrey, Texas shortly before the hurricane where the film was subsequently completed using a different shed for the exterior. All of the exterior scenes were done in Texas as well as a few non-shed interiors.
