I showed it to my sister. I don't think she caught onto the plot very quickly, though I think it would help to not argue about it through logic & PC-ness, it also helps to shut up. Don't try to bring logic and PC-ness into a nonsensical kids' movie, it doesn't work. The couple kinda talk like Yoda.
Doesn't make a tremendous, great deal of sense, but there is *some* sense in there. Mother Nature sends an enchanted baby who grows into a boy named Peter to help an Amish couple with their problems as they're under the threat of an evil robot named Tin Whiskers. Though, not technically a robot or a cyborg even, he had more of a mechanical suit like Iron Man. With the help of his animal friends and Mother Nature, Peter must save everyone and Easter from Tin Whiskers.
Like I said, rather bizarre yet fun to watch. And don't try to bring logic or PC-ness into a nonsensical kids' movie, it doesn't work.
A young boy named Peter is the main character. An evil tin man named Tin Whiskers (I think) somehow buys the whole town and re-names everything after tin and metal. Peter must save the town/Easter(?). He goes into the woods and meets Mother Nature and she helps him in some way. I do not remember the end, but I would not give it away anyways.
Overall, it was a very cute holiday special. Hopefully this will be released in the future so I can enjoy it every year. Released March 2007.
The story for this special is about a farmer and his wife, Mr. And Mrs. Doppler, and how they needed money to save their farm. One night, they heard the cry of a baby coming from their henhouse. A special boy named Peter Paas, whom the Dopplers adopted as their son, Within a year, Peter was already twelve years old. But the Dopplers must pay the mortgage for the farm to Tobias Toot. Once upon a time, Tobias Toot, a farmer, mechanized his farm and took control of nearby farms, including the Dopplers', the town's bank, and the town itself. He got himself mechanically altered since he loved machines so much. Tobias Toot is now known as Tobias Tinwhiskers.
Now back to the story: Peter and his friends, the cast of anthropomorphic farm animals, produce and dye eggs for the Easter Bunny and make the annual mortgage payment on Easter Day. As we continue in this special, Peter has revealed to his friends that Mother Nature is his birth mother, and it was the Easter Bunny who bought the infant Peter to the Dopplers.
That's all I can tell you; you'll have to watch the special to find out how it ends. So, I have no further comments to make, but I am moved to commend the enchanting special with the talents of The Wizard of Oz's Ray Bolger as the storyteller, Uncle Amos.

Lollichop: Oh, what's bothering you now, Terrence?
Terrence: This is no time for a tea party! Uncle Amos is telling the story! Come on, or we'll miss it!
Feathers: Oh, it's always hurry, hurry, hurry with you.
Cotton: Yeah. Turtles are supposed to take it easy.
Terrence: But Cotton, Uncle Amos is telling the story!
Cotton: You mean *the* story? Well, why didn't you say so? Let's go!
