Cecilie Mosli and Fritjov Såheim was nominated for best actors for their parts in Sørgekåpen at the Gullrtuten award (norwegian Emmy) in 2008.
"Sørgekåpen" was the second highest rated externally produced show on NRK in 2007-2012, only beaten by "Lillyhammer" (with Steven van Zandt from "The Sopranos"). Of all 21 series on NRK in 2007-2012 (both internal and external produced shows) Sørgekåpen was the 6th most viewed show.
