Alf's Dilemma

Despite a stomach bug. Alf teases Mike for his reading material. An early autobiography by Ian St. John called Boom at the Top.

While Alf is reading a book by television clean up campaigner, Mrs Mary Whitehouse. She was no fan of a particular show set in London about a mouthy West Ham supporting bigot.

Only each time Alf starts a ruckus. He needs to rush to the next door's toilet. Their own toilet is blocked and the plumber is not due until the next day.

It seems Alf is carrier of a particular bug and needs to be hospitalised. Mike and Rita decides all his belongings need to be burnt.

It is clear that this was not a full recovered episode. Some of the listed cast members are missing. I do have to commend how Alf managed to hold it in as he waited for his neighbour's lavatory to be free from a dozing granddad.
