Compared to its predecessors, Leroy & Stitch leans heavily on spectacle rather than emotional depth. The original film's charm came from its grounded storytelling and emotional resonance, while the sequels have progressively moved toward a more formulaic, episodic structure. That said, this installment offers satisfying closure to long-running character arcs, particularly Stitch's evolution from a destructive experiment to a true hero. The final scenes are packed with callbacks and cameos that reward longtime viewers.
As for whether the franchise is getting better or worse, Leroy & Stitch lands somewhere in the middle. It lacks the emotional power of the original and the freshness of the first sequel (Stitch! The Movie), but it fares better than Lilo & Stitch 2, which struggled with tonal consistency. It's a serviceable, energetic finale that prioritizes fan service and action over storytelling nuance. Not groundbreaking, but for fans, it's a fun, fitting goodbye. Would you like a numerical rating or a visual summary to go with the review?
While still not absolutely terrible, 'Leroy & Stitch' isn't one that's worth watching. Not helped by a plot that is all over the place, the new characters also fail to bring any intrigue with them. I do appreciate a follow-up on the ending of 'Stitch! The Movie', at least.
Cast-wise, it's decent to hear Daveigh Chase back as Lilo while Jeff Bennett and Rob Paulsen do fine jobs as Dr. Hämsterviel and Reuben. The rest, e.g. Tia Carrere (Nani), all take a backseat.
I guess they were due a wholly bad film eventually, still pleasing that none of them are truly horrific though.
The story is decent and with some funny moments but also I feel that they were just recycling and repeating the previous movies stories. The plot was decent and convincing with a very good rhythm.
I like the music very much and the animation was great as it is always on Disney's movies.
The cast of voices was very decent and good.
In conclusion, this wasn't the best movie of the series by far, but I think its pretty enjoyable and entertaining to spend a good Sunday afternoon with the family.

- TriviaIn one shot of the experiments in the stadium Timon and Pumbaa from El rey león (1994) can be briefly seen standing in the crowd.
- ErroresAfter Lilo gets a photograph of her and all of her Ohana (including the experiments) she puts it into the book which contains the pictures of all the experiments. The other photographs appear to be normal, but earlier on in the movie, Leroy tore an X in each picture as he caught the experiments.

Captain Gantu: Actually, I think...
Dr. Jacques Von Hämsterviel: I did not ask what you think!
Captain Gantu: But you did...
Dr. Jacques Von Hämsterviel: That was a rhetorical question! Don't you know what a rhetorical question is?
Captain Gantu: Yes, I believe it's...
Dr. Jacques Von Hämsterviel: That was a rhetorical question too!
