When Cherry Darling is riding in El Wray's wrecker before the crash, she is wearing a sleeveless red top. In the hospital when she wakes up and realizes she has lost her leg, she is wearing a gray t-shirt. When El Wray comes into her hospital room to save her, she is wearing the red top again. She tells El Wray she can't stand, and has been lying in bed with the sheet over her head, so she didn't get up and change her own shirt, and with the chaos in the hospital, it is unlikely a nurse stopped by to change her shirt either.

When the women in the Dodge Charger are in pursuit of Stuntman Mike at the end of Death Proof, the cracks on the windshield disappear then reappear between shots.

There is a shot of the table with Jungle Julia, Shanna, and Dov. Eli Roth (Dov) has been replaced by another actor/stand-in.

In the final scene of Death Proof, during Stuntman Mike's roll of his Dodge, the driver's door remains closed on the car. Afterwards, the door suddenly becomes wide open, touching the fender as Mike is dangling his left side outside of the car while he's weeping in agony.

In the final scene of Death Proof, when the Dodge Challenger forces the Charger to spin out and crash, the Charger's rear wheels are still on the car. As the girls approach the car in the next scene, one rear wheel on the driver's side is no longer on the car.

Because Grindhouse is an homage to the old low budget films of the 70s and 80s, there are many deliberate errors by the filmmakers to give an authentic grindhouse feel.

During the car chase at the end of Death Proof, the cars are shown rubbing side-by-side at supposedly a high speed. However, two regulation cars of the road are shown passing the cars as they rub together, showing that was filmed at a much lower speed.

In the trailer for Thanksgiving, the narrator establishes the setting as Massachusetts. However, during the parade scene, several store signs and advertisements can briefly be seen that are written in Czech. The trailer was shot in the Czech Republic, where director Eli Roth was simultaneously filming Hostal: parte II (2007), however, it also adds to the grindhouse feel as many old horror films would be filmed outside of the United States with an attempt to pass it off as taking place in the USA.

The supposed dead guy moves his head when the doors burst open.

Towards the end of Death Proof, the camera rises up as if on a jig, hits the limit, and bounces down a little. They chose to not cut this out as they wanted the remaining long shot to show the cars driving into the distance.

A crane arm used to light the set is visible at the far end of the set in Death Proof. The shot was left in to help the low cost feel to the film.

During the opening scene of Planet Terror where Cherry is dancing, there is a mirror in the background, in which, you can see the crew filming.

At the market at the start of the second half, the sign above the store includes liquor and wine, but in Tennessee grocery stores do not sell wine or liquor.

Jungle Julie mentions, several times, the group Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mitch and Titch; it should actually be Mick, not Mitch.
