I'm Sorry, I Love You is a maudlin story not balanced by uplifting qualities, in my opinion. Several times per episode you would have to endure one or more characters collapsing and being taken to hospital. Many scenes occur in hospital rooms. It's repetitive and a waste of your time because those characters will get up and walk around and even run around again to keep the story moving after the repetitive pauses. But the story doesn't move very far. I believe I could describe 16 episodes to you in a few sentences. Most of the time is taken up by the characters pushing and pulling one another, but like ships passing in the night rarely making meaningful contact. A perfect example is a scene in which most of the main characters are happily gathered for a joyful occasion completely unaware of their missing family member/friend's vulnerability and desolation. They should have known. It never gets better than that. Do you want to watch a program about that? On a different occasion another character finally says - I love you - over the phone! During 16 episodes a certain character might share only one or two thoughts with another that move the plot. You would wonder what took so long. I was intrigued by the pushing and pulling and I expected resolution - finally - but I was frustrated and not satisfied in the end.
It's honestly one of the most emotional and touching drama I've ever watched. The story is beyond just sadiness or drama, It's a lot about human feelings and real pains. I think I got to feel just everything I could and each piece of the story (which is revealed time by time) makes you go deep in though and get close to the characters feelings. I felt hopeless and happy in the same time in most of the parts but It was just so hard to go through the drama whitout wishing with all your will that they would get some little happy moments. I just can hardly express how much this story made me feel.
Have you ever listened to a TV series intro which would make you cry even the series ended 15 years ago? I can tell you that this TV series was shown in 2004 but its audiences would still wet their eyes in 2019 when the theme song "Snow Flake" started.
Yes, I agreed that too much tears, sickness, coincidence and amnesia happened in South Korean TV series and made you feel déjà vu. But this one was exceptional because it starred by So Ji Sub.
So Ji Sub was one of the top actors in South Korean and all his works would move you just by his eye sight, his body movement or his voice. His character in this TV series was natural born tragedy. Audiences would feel for him no matter he was good or bad. When he laughed, we laughed. When he cried, we cried. This TV series was unofficially voted as fans' all time favorite. Want a good cry? You come to the right place.
Take a chance to watch this TV series and you will not regret for the time spent on it.

This series is full of cliches but still somehow it tells a very special and realistic story that finds a way to touch your heart and God... hurts it!
The acting, chemistry between the leads and the soundtrack (snow flower) was all so good!
The story takes you in and before you know, you are feeling that broken heart pain! In the last episodes I cried like crazy. I even asked myself "Why the hell am I doing this to myself?" But I couldn't stop watching it.
This is my favorite drama series so far!

"Sorry, I Love You"is usually be called MISA for short in Korean. It is the best Korea drama I ever seen. Korea drama is usually sad, but most of them are not sadder than this. The chief actor's acting is impressive. I think Ji-seob So did good a job. Cha Mu-hyeok must be one of the most miserable roles in Korea drama. The chief actress is Su-jeong Lim. I have watched "A Tale of two sisters" before, her performance is perfect in that film, but I love "Song Eun-chae" more. She is so lovely in MISA.
The fans in MISA are called "MISA disabled person". It means they lost their life instinct and just watch this drama without doing anything. "I think I have become one of them.
