This is hands down the best Spyro game for me. It's such a childhood classic and I absolutely love it.
The premise of the game is you need to collect the "hearts" from each land to stop Ripto. But of course, you can only have the heart if you go and collect these items which are scattered across the lands.
It's a wholehearted experience of searching and exploring and I've played it so many times I can now complete the game in around 4 hours.
For new players, as you won't know where everything is, the gameplay is much longer it's just because I love a replay it's over so quickly.
The characters throughout are enjoyable and fun, the graphics hold up and all the loveable Spyro characters are here. Even if you've never played a Spyro game before, this is a great introduction to the world of Spyro and hopefully will inspire you to play more.
My only hope now is that this is rereleased so I can play it all over again on the Switch!
